Well, congrats on the W tonight Mtl. I can't believe how lethargic and lackadascal the Leafs look tonight. You'd think with honoring Sundin they'd have a little more pride but nope.

I thought it was the opposite, i thought it was THE HABS that took control from the leafs and DOMINATED THEM. I THOUGHT THAT TORONTO IS NEVER GOING TO WIN A 7 GAME SERIES AGAINST THE HABS...EVER!!!

BUT LOL...I AM JUST SAYING IT, DOESN'T MAKE IT TRUE. LMAO. SORRY.

Kinda hard to win a 7 game series against each other when we never face each other. When one team is good no matter who it is, the other one is down. The Buds haven't been playing well at all the last few games. If anything I hope that will give them a kick in the @ss to get them going again.

I watched while Harrold Ballard destoryed your franchise many years ago, it took all this time to build it up and Now Rejean Houle, Bob Ginaey jeff Molson and Pierre Gauthier have done the completely same thing to the Habs.

The Leafs are in a good spot

The Habs are a completely qualified FAILURE of the highest possible order.

Well, luckly Ballard era was before my time but I know of his antics. C'mon, Gauthier can't be AS bad as Ballard...I mean, you are talking about someone SO cheap he didn't want to put names on the back of jerseys and told Roger Neilson to come out again after being fired with a bag over his head! Then ran Sittler out of town and screwed Keon so much that even today he still wants nothing to do with the franchise.

As for the Leafs right now, the way they are playing they aren't going to make it. Burke has COMPLETELY failed to address goaltending and defense. What do they do in Calgary after getting blown out by your Habs? Get their butts kicked by the Flames. Washington is 1 back with 2 in hand and the reason the Leafs are in the top 8 right now is pure luck. Yet Burke sits there, gives the coach an extension and twittles his thumbs making no trades to fix the back end....cause if he was making a trade he'd have done it by now.

As for the Habs, don't be surprised to see people gone in the offseason. Mainly at least the GM. That Gomez contract is really holding you down too.

i would have loved if the mgmt for this team just stated out loud thaT A GUY LIKE rICK nASH IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS TEAM NEEDS BUT THEY, THE FRENCH, HAVE MESSED THIS WHOLE THING UP SO BAD HE WOULD NEVER PLAY HERE IF WE MADE AN OFFER AS MUCH TEN THOUSAND TIMES BETTER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE. NOONE WANTS TO BE A PART OF ALOSER RIGHT NOW MORE THAN BOB GAINEY AND PIERRE GUATHIER AND JEFF MOLSON...NOONE IN ANY SPORT ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD HAS DONE MORE TO SCREW UP IT;S OWN CHANCES THAN THESE MEN HAVE, AND IF YOU ASK ME AT THIS POINT IT IS NOTHING LESS THAN BOTH NEGLIGENCE AND COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE.

That's the thing..Don't be surprised if Gauthier is gone by summer's end. I know that you are pissed off with management and can't blame you this year. Even I expected more from Montreal then what I see. That being said though, when you look at cities like Toronto and Mtl, you also have to understand that the players are living under a microscope and the first mistake any player or management makes the press is all over it. That type of hockey market isn't for everyone, and from what I know that is why Nash didn't sign with TO last time he was a free agent.

Has to be gone you are right. Nash wants to play iona winner like everyone else. If scotty bowman were coach or gm of this team he would fix the whole thing whtout trading or changing one guy even. The problems in Montreaal right now are MGMT and Coaching NOT PLAYERS IMO, although there are about a dozen I would shop around right now. But IMO, this team, if coached properly could have wn a cup. At tis point though it will NEVER happen.

Wasn't Bowman the GM of a team once and he didn't do well? I think it was the Buffalo Sabres.

Yeah but we're far from out of the woods yet. We got a game on Saturday in Vancouver and we haven't beaten them in 10 tries. Meanwhile, Washington has a game against Tampa Bay. Luckly that it is in Tampa Bay. Washington really concerns me. That is a team that has really under performed this year and if they win both games in hand that puts us in 9th. The Leafs still need defense big time as well, the Oilers really had them hemmed in their own zone at times. However, both teams are really quick and it was a fast paced, high tempo game. Surprisingly Edmonton is really tough to play at home too. I thought Reimer played a lot better tonight then he did against Montreal as well.

As for the Habs game, well think of it this way: you were down 3-1 and managed to come back and earn a point. One point is better than none which is a heck of a lot more then we can say about my team when they face Boston (which gets really ugly). What the Habs did against them is really tough to do considering (as much as you may hate to admit) they are a top team in the East.

I did hear about the French Connection. Still though, even if he couldn't get the job done as a GM..I think we all know he's a heck of a coach. You guys should know that first hand considering he won a lot with your team.

Winnigest coach of the NHL pretty much. I see your boys are up this game on Buffalo. Give 'em credit, if they don't make it they sure as hell are making it interesting!

Spartacus, at least your boys are playing with a bit of heart and like they want it. My guys, 5/6 games are playing like crap..and not just losing, but losing 6-2, 5-0, 5-2. When you play like this, you don't deserve to be in the top 8.

Spartacus, I just dropped on by to say congrats on beating the Canucks on Saturday. I didn't watch but they are a tough team to beat specially in their barn. You must've been happy with the effort.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
