Yes, the Redskins name is offensive

the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux has been dealing with this same sh*t for years. They are constantly having to conduct meetings with the Sioux tribal leaders to convince people the logo isnt offensive due to the fact the tribes are not offended. I think it just comes down to having enough money to pay the right people to not be offended. Like i said, though, they have been battling with the Sioux logo for years and will continue to do so until the school just deals with it and comes up with a logo that does not degrade(supposedly) a complete culture of people. Same goes for the Redskins.
