Its nice to have JT back. Like others, I don't quite know what to expect production-wise from him. The injuries do scare me at his age, but perhaps with a real commitment to the offseason program his health can be rehabbed to the point where he can be a factor. Much will depend on how he's used. I'd expect this staff will use him situationally, and if he still has anything left they'll get it out of him. In any case a motivated, humbled, hungry JT has to be a good thing for the team. I don't think the 'success' of the move should be measured statistically in terms of how many sacks he has. I'm not saying he can't still do it if used wisely. All I'm saying is his value should be measured in terms of veteran leadership, knowledge (of both technique and opposing players in the division and the league) and experience and its effct on the development of younger players. Really, at this price, there's nothing to lose, plus its better to have him with us than allowing him to go to NE (for some of those same intangibles reasons).
