Rush Limbaugh dropped from group trying to buy Rams

Rush got what he deserved.

No Rush got what Jackson and Sharpton threw at him. The NFL picks Rush to say, We are a decent organization no room for "bad folks"... Hey Micheal Vick... get over and sign this contract, whats it been a year since your release. Racist organization that gets its advice from other racists, Rush should sue.

What a misleading story -- or plain old lying. The reason Limbaugh was dropped was because various people insisted he was "racist" and used smear tactics to make their claims. Al Sharpton was one of those doing the smearing. The media picked up the smear, repeated the charges, and refused to provide Limbaugh equal time.

Eventually, the group seeking to buy the franchise gave up on Limbaugh and kicked him out of the group.

The ONLY reason this happened is because Limbaugh is such an effective spokesman for conservatives -- and the liberals in the media wanted to prevent him from making this investment. This is a shameful day for journalism. But it also underscores the reason so many of us are turning to other sources for news -- we just can't trust outlets like AP to give us the real story anymore.

amazing that the NFL incl. their players are offended by Rush but yet do nothing about Vick playing ....he and his team should be boycotted. Thats what I call messed up priorities....or is it called greed???

Wasn't he the one accused for absuing prescription drugs and doctor shopping? Then he has the balls to talk about athletes who abuse drugs?

What he has is great marketing people who manage to attract millions of listners who feel cheated. Cheated out of what is the question but they feel short changed because Rush tells them so.

Rush may be an idiot and a racist, but still the NFL chooses to make a point with him, while allowing Vick to play. Please, there are some football players out there that make Rush look like a saint. Rush will be okay in the long run.

Your last paragraph made absolutely no sense. People felt cheated, then Rush's marketing people attracted them, then Rush tells them to feel short changed even though they felt cheated before the marketing folks attracted them? Huh?

Maybe you should give Rush a listen. I, too, once felt like I was supposed to dislike him without ever hearing him speak. If you're anywhere close to either side of the middle (or the right, of course) of the political spectrum you just might appreciate what he says. If you're liberal, you'll just disagree and call him a fat idiot like all of my liberal friends do - and they've never listened to him speak. They won't even try because it's easier to accuse him of what his media opponents claim.

I do not believe Rush Limbaugh is a racist, per se. HOWEVER, he plays to many of his listeners who ARE racists in a sort of wink-and-a-nod fashion. I have heard numerous bits on his radio show over the last 20 years where it was real obvious what he was doing. Most recently he made fun of a bunch of black Detroit residents who were collecting some kind of emergency welfare. They were asked questions on where this money originates from (the taxpayer)- but nobody could give the correct answer.

Way to go Rush -- make fun of poor black people in the middle of the Second Great Depression. Such compassion. But this is typical Rush Limbaugh.

Rush Limbaugh is merely a mouthpiece for the Luciferian elite that run this country. All of his crap about "rugged individualism" is just a vaneer of American traditionalism. If Rush Limbaugh is such a patriot, then why doesn't he identify, confront, and oppose the New World Order? Because the paycheck is too sweet.

I'm glad he lost his bid to get the St. Louis Rams.
