Sometimes it pays to simply shut your mouth. We all have opinions, and what ever made Rush think he was the "all knowing" is beyond me. Imagine having to do what he does day in and day out, for the period of years he has been doing it. And, it hasn't alterred a thing. All his ranting and raving about everyone A to Z has not changed one thing. How does he continue his blathering? Well, he just screwed himself.

Rush was painted as a racist which is what the left wing loves to do to those who disagree with their ideology. Even though Limbaugh did not say the vast majority of the things they said he did they smeared him enough that the spineless ultra politically correct NFL caved in. Rush is going to sue all the Journalists and so called sources who lied about his alleged racist rants. They will be held libel for damages caused to Limbaugh. I for one am glad. I'm sick of Liberals and their fake racist accusations that they love to spew out at people. God Bless you Rush, Screw the Liberals and their communist agenda, and screw the NFL. You have been called to much higher things of importance !

Your defense of Rush is that he hasn't made ALL the racist statements others have claimed? How does that lessen the ones he has made?

I too believe Rush has a purpose. He is an important reminder of the danger of ignorance, intolerance and bigotry.

He has made ugly, bigoted remarks that have not only been racist but also misogynistic. He's made a lot of money from the ugliness coming from him, and has acquired a well-deserved reputation as a mean-spirited, bigoted bully. He chose that path, and he has to take personal responsibility for it, partly by acknowledging that he has alienated a lot of people. There is a right to free speech, but there is also an obligation to use that right responsibly and recognize that there are consequences for not using it responsibly. He can dish it out but can't take it, just like a typical schoolyard bully.

Let's stop picking on good ole "all knowing" Rush. He's good for laughs.
