Al likes to have a lot of QB's, he's always looking for that gem that somebody else threw away. Frye ain't it Al, but all teams need some camp fodder.

The only reason I can think of is that they are trying to trade Walter to possibly Tampa or another team that needs a qb. I'm with you and Tex...I'll take Walter over Frye any day. |

i've always liked a walter, his records have been better than elways in college. it's hard to be a backup ant just take over as a starter. but it is an expectation. the problem i think was that he did not get enough protection with our O-line. a problem we have today still,or until the season starts we will find out how much we have improved. too bad walter wants to leave but it's understandable, every (qb) wants to start. I liked Walter too along with Tui, but I don't think either of them ever got a fair chance. |

I dont know, Frye vs Walter is hard, I prefer Frye over Walter. Frye is nothing more than a #3 but either is Walter, he had his chance at starting and lost it. Frye started at Cleveland and was a #2 for a bit in Seattle and had his moments. In the right organization could be a good clipboard king and help as needed. Walter needs to go.......

Walter's a woosy; he's afraid to run the ball. Russell at least tries to when he has too, but Walter stood still like a statue and took the sack.

part of the reason for that was our offensive line was horrible when he got the chance to start....I think Walter could start in the NFL if he had an O-Line.
