Michael Vick Playing for the Seahawks in 2010 Should Be a No-Brainier

In this society all ex-cons have a hard time after they leave prison. He's not special. Our society always has and always will treat garbage like garbage. What he wants doesn't really matter. If he concerned himself about his goals prior to going to jail he wouldn't be in the boat he's in now. That's called acting like an adult. He will pay the fiddler as they say. There's no way around it.

When will you get it through your thick skull that the NFL is not society and is not governed by the laws of society? The NFL is a private enterprise and anybody can be ruled to be unfit to play in the league if the Comish. deems it so because of actions or words that brings negative light or publicity to the league. It falls under the clause Actions detrimental to the NFL.

Mikey could serve another 5 years and it would still be up to one man to judge whether Mikey is cleared to play or not cleared to play.

Please, get back to school and learn the difference in society and privately owned business.

The report has names and phrases redacted in order to protect the anonymity of certain individuals who cooperated with investigators.
The 17-page report also stated that Vick was directly involved in hanging and drowning dogs that they deemed not fight to fight. The report says that somebody was paid $100 to dig two graves for the dog carcasses and Vick, Peace and Phillips buried them.
Vick, who is serving 23 month sentence in a federal prison in Kansas, has already reached a plea deal with Virginia that will result in a three-year suspended prison sentence and a $2,500 fine.

You remind me of one of the first cases I worked with an older sergeant, we responded to a call where a woman had clothes stolen from her clothes line. The sergeant asked her what types of clothing was stolen, to which she replied. They got two pairs of panties, three bras, a night gown and a bed jacket. It's not that I'm against Micahel Vick, I think he's served his time and is a free man or soon to be. but I think the NFL has to ask, "Is this the kind of role model we want to endorse for our children to grow up and become and make millions of dollars playing a game?" And since their answer is likely yes, I ave the right to disagree and keep my children from watching their sport.

Some people never learn that it is better to think with your head than with your crotch.
