If he is healthy we could get him fairly cheap. Worth a look.

Gallery (IMO) is easily one of the best OG in the league but he's always injured. I don't think he's ever played more than 11 games in a season.

Having said that........I wouldn't be opposed to to sticking him in our O-line between Veldheer & Wis II if we can get him REAL cheap. When he's healthy, Gallery is real, real good. And he should be cheap. If he wants big time "starter" money, then I pass.

that is why I said if he is cheap. He is good...but I kind of feel like that is putting a band aid on a gash....we do need a reliable OG.i doubt McKenzie goes for him bcause of his injuries.

I'm on board for bringing Gallery back into the fold at the right price. Was playing at a Pro-bowl level his last year in Oakland.

Never really panned out, did he? Remember when he was supposed to be the nobrainer choice in the draft.....Sorry, Al.....

the only thing that pissed me off about gallery besides being injury prone, is that he quit on the team to go with tom cable to seattle! well, now tom cable quit him! was it worth it loving your coach so much? this is the nfl, not some! rocky mountain country jam! "i cain't quit yeww"
change my mind! he just pissed me off again!

When we drafted Robert Gallery and Jake Grove to be the anchors of the line, we had no team system and our real problems at the time was the coaches and management. I thought Al Davis had come to his senses when he kept Cable for a 3rd year, but was then let go which ticked off a lot of Raider Nation. Then came Hue Jackson who never really got a chance...what I liked best about him was we never saw a losing record last year. Then Al Davis passed away so everything is getting overhauled so now we will be the New and (hopefully) Improved Raiders of 2012

He did pan out, it just took him awhile. The last 2 seasons he was the best we had on that side of the ball.

He got injured, so he didn't worj out too well for Seattle, but he did well for the Raiders the last two seasons he was with us. But injuries have been a problem which is why the Raiders let him go....

Shame for him and both teams....i remember that draft, he looked good and at least had decent short career....hope it does'nt effect his longterm health.....i played hockey when younger and those hits have a way of a price you pay, in your later years.....

GALLERY is a big guy. he's young and i believe he may still have something left in the tank. whether he ends here or there or wherever, i believe he may still get back in the game. he just needs to focus on his game. he's gotta want to be one of the best. he better do it fast cause his time in football may get cut short for him.
