Monday Night Football nearly became a Monday Night Fiasco. San Francisco's lights-out return to prime time helped salvage what could have been an embarrassing evening for everyone involved on the NFL's biggest stage after a pair of power outages delayed the game for close to 35 minutes in all.

GREAT game by the Pissburgh Stillers last night - they looked almost (but not quite) like a real playoff team against the 49ers! Like most of America, I was cheering the Niners, since our favorite teams are the ones we root for, plus whoever's playing the Stillers this week!
NICE decision by Tomlin to start beaten-up has-Ben Rapistberger at QB, too. He really looked like he belonged out there! It was lights out for more than the stadium, wasn't it? LOL At least other teams now know the Stillers have no BACKUP QB, so going after Big (Dumb) Ben should win any Stillers game for you. |

seemed like a boring game considering the 49er's were only up by 6 points into the 3rd quarter.
Considering what the sportscasters said about how such things effect players, wonder in the blackout go to them as silly as it may sound? |

More credit needs to be given to the 49ers. They may have a lot to say about who represents the NFC in the SB:

I'd take any of the Steeler back ups over any of the Browns' qb's that is for sure. |

That shelf for trophies over in Cleveland is turning brown and rusty. That describes the Browns perfectly. They have been garbage from the start. |
Yeah, obviously, since your chump coach played his backups in the SF game instead of crippled Rapistberger! LOL |
|
Wait, they've got a trophy shelf...but have been "garbage from the start?" That sounds like the kind of logical, intelligent comment you'd expect from a Pissburgher....:) |

Your comprehension is that one of the ignorant man. The shelf has been waiting for ages to see a trophy be placed upon. Of course we all know that this won't ever happen. |

A couple seasons ago, Pittsburgh lost to the Browns. It happens occasionally but with the way Cleveland celebrated, you'd think they just won a superbowl (which they have not).
I will agree that I didn't want Roethlisberger playing, because Batch is pretty solid and Roethlisberger looked way too crippled to be in a game. And yes, I'd take Batch over any Cleveland QB. He kicked Butt today. |

Chump Coach? I am not even sure I know who Cleveland's coach is. |

Batch was nice today...executed to perfection, even with a 3rd Center. |
