Used to be a Raider and Ram fan, when they played in L.A. they betrayed the L.A. fan and don't deserve to return. I kind of like the sound of "Los Angeles Jaguars" now that sounds better.....

Have you been smoking banana peels? The Radiers "belong to the San Gabriel Valley?" Are you KIDDING? They no more "belong" here than do the Cowboys, Giants of Dolphins. While there is a small (VERY small) group of Raiders fans in SoCal, the VEST majority of NFL fans here not only don't give a rat's rear-end about them, but we DISLIKE them, to put it in printable language.

This team has one of the longest loosing streaks in recent history, not to mention the tempermental owner that screwed SoCal NFL fans once already. The belong in Oakland, and I say let 'e stay there!

Oh, and all the above applies to the Rams, too.

Keep the "Trader Raider's" up in Oakland. Al Davis u suck. I like the idea of the LA Rams coming back.

Wasn't it just last week that Frank wrote that column fantasizing about the paradise that South El Monte might have become, if only its founding fathers had decided to name it "Santa Anita," rather than South El Monte ?

Now, Frank is trading in his utopian fantasy of having Mayberry in the San Gabriel Valley for a paradigm which includes screaming Raiders fans.

Maybe next week, Frank will write a column suggesting a name change for the Raiders.
I bet Frank would suggest something really soft and touchy-feely, like the Pacifists, or the United Nations Peacekeepers.
Or maybe the Barbara Boxers.
Or how about the Tax Collectors ?

Instead of selling beer and hot dogs at the concession stands, the team could sell arubula and green tea.

Instead of having "sexist" cheerleaders on the sidelines yelling "go, fight, win !", they could have bureaucrats and labor arbiters who use microphones to preach cooperation as well as an equal distribution of touchdowns.

And Frank could recommend the team change its slogan from "Just win, baby," to "Just hope and change, baby."
