On Friday, August 31, 2007 I left the following message on this message board.
"I was shocked when I heard this. I feel sorry for Leftwich. But It's his own fault. I'm glad that Del Rio at last got the message. I think that this sends a message to the rest of the team. Play at 110% or don't play for the Jaguars. Just because you earned the starting spot doesn't mean that you can sit back and play poorly. Maybe now the Jags have a decent shot at a winning season. This isn't just about this pre-season. This is what we the fans of the team have been dealing with for four years. My message to Garrard is that you better bring it every sunday. You finally get your chance to start."

Well it looks like the jaguars did bring it this season. To a #5 seed in the playoffs. I was like many fans just hoping for a winning season. Now the real challenge begins. The seating in the playoffs should be based on record not on awarding average teams home games in the playoffs. Just because they play in a weak divison. Although the Jags are 6-1 on the road. At 11-4 and the 3rd best team in the AFC. The jags should have a home playoff game.
