Just wondering what everyone else thinks, here is my Top 10 all time favorite Raiders.
1.Howie Long-moter that never stopped
2.Lyle Alzado-Power and consistency
3.Lester Hayes-All around
4.Tim Brown-First class all the way
5.Bo Jackson-Man was he Fast
6.John Madden-NFL's best spokesman
7.Gene Upshaw-Consummate profesional
8.Steve Wisnewski-Mean as a snake
9.Rod Martin-I think our best lb ever.
10.Marcuse Allen-would have put him higher but the whole Al davis feud and him going to chiefs droped him lower for me.

But keep in mind i only listed players i had a chance to watch myself.

Bad Timing, but I liked Jack Tatum...I say bad timing as Darryl Stingley died today. For those to young to know, he was the Patriots receiver whom Tatum hit in an exhibition game and paralyzed him. I know he never meant to paralyze him, but he always played with intensity and fire...Something the Raiders have lacked in recent years. I also liked Plunkett...But Howie Long is my favorite and Tim Brown...Both played with Class and desire...

TexasRaider has a pretty solid list, there are so many greats, so many badasses, we need to get us some of these type of guys again. The guys that when you walked on to the field you knew they were going to tear your head off and shit down your throat players. Pardon my French, you know the nasty players. I don't know that we really have any of those guys right now. Several may turn in to those people, that last time I has seen that was when Eric Allen, Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott were at DB. I really have not seen that on the DL since Long, at times McGlockton looked like he would be that guy, Darrell Russell before totally flopping at times looked like he would become that guy but it just has not happened. I WANT THE NASTY BACK!

Ray Guy does not make an Honorable Mention list. Shane Lechler who I like very much could not hold his jock in fact would be honored to do so. Guy was and is the greatest punter to every play the game and I would really like to see anyone argue that point. It is complete BS that he has not made the Hall of Fame yet. Sorry really get heated at times talking about my RAIDERS!!

I agree. Ray Guy was the greatest punter to ever play the game. His combination of distance plus hang time revolutionized the position. His very successful coffin-corner technique is rarely attempted in today's NFL. Ray Guy was a household name during his playing days which is a testement to his greatness. All fans knew that the Raider's punter was Ray Guy. Can fans today name the opposing team's punter?

The list from Texas Raider is good. Personally, I would have Tatum, Lawrence, Dalby and Branch on the A-team. Not mentioned, Reggie Kinlaw, Sean Jones and Chris Bahr would be on my A-team and Mark Van Eeghan, Bill Pickel and Monte Johnson would be on my B-team.

Thanks...I knew I was missing somebody. Ray Guy should definetly be on there. When I made my A-Team and B-Team I did give advantage to players I've actually seen play. It is complete BS that lots of great Raiders haven't made the Hall of Fame yet. Kenny Stabler and Ray Guy are the biggest names that come to mind on that subject

Those guys were pretty good too. I really can't believe I failed to mention Monte Johnson and Chris Bahr. Kinlaw, Jones, and Van Eeghan were pretty good too. I don't know that much about Pickel, but I'll take your word on him.

Wait a minute. Ray Guy is on the honorable mention list. What I should've done is do a kicker and punter on A & B team.

Ray Guy has to be in the Top five, he was the best Punter to ever play the game on any team...he might even deserve the #1 spot...

There are so many Raider greats, I feel bad to leave some out.

Marcus Allen -could run, catch, block, and pass the option.
Steve Smith -great blocker, solid ball carrier
Ray Guy -should belong in the Hall of Fame
Jim Otto -the double 0 at center
Upshaw and Shell -great anchors on the left side
Casper -The Ghost to the post
Mark Van Eeghen -the quiet pillar of consistency
Tim Brown -I wanted him to get a Super Bowl ring.
Fred "Stickum" Biletnikoff -great player and coach (Hey Al Davis, I bet you miss him huh!
Kenny "the Snake" -had touch with long and short passes.
Jim Plunkett -personal stats are not everything, the man was indeed a winner.
Hayes and Haynes -top notch corners
Willie Brown -Old man Willie was awesome
Van McElroy -hard hitting safety that never was in the spotlight
Ted Hendricks, Matt Millen, Rod Martin -every down linebackers that are so rare these days.
Howie Long -put on a uniform and join your son in the NFL, we can still use you!
George Blanda -The "Social Security collecting" kicker/QB.
John Madden, Tom Flores -you guys still interested in a coaching job?
