The Packer players and organization are acting with class. I hope Packer fans will follow their example.

Packers moved on. He wants to play. I don't see a problem. I do think there are some national media being quite nasty to the guy.

The national media specializes in creating controversy. Unfortunately, they have become very good at it.

Trust me, the last thing on earth that Packers brass wants to see is Favre in purple. No matter how the Packers do this yr if they lose two to Favre its hard to see Thompson and McCarthy keeping their jobs. The feeling I get from my Packer friends and from traveling to Wi is, win two over Favre your a genius, lose one to Favre you keep your job, lose both to Favre, pack your bags.

This proves that there is always a silver lining. Favre going to Minnesota is a win-win situation.

Green Bay will have another 6-10 season regardless, and Minnesota will take the division again, so i'm to the point where i don't really care if we get Favre or not.

I think it's great for fans and competition. Speaking of which, has anyone looked at the December/January Pack schedule for the stretch run? Brutal.

Without a defense, how optimistic can Mark Murphy(Alfred E. Neuman) get?
If the offensive line doesn't get immediate help from this draft, then, coupled with the screen door defense, this team is in trouble.
Rodgers has played well, but even Marino found out how tough it is without a supporting cast. TT has pinched the pennies, and the roster is reflective of that cheapness. McMuffin cleaned out some coaches, so now we can see if the true McMuffin is last years version, or the year before when he coached the NFC in the Pro-Bowl.
Here's to last year. HOWL!!!!!

I would rather see the Pack play good teams, then we can measure up the competition and see how close we are to championship status. Teams with easy schedules usually fail in the playoffs. Tough to analyze schedules when there are teams that surprise us every year, that is why this is my favorite sport.

Favre is a joke. He is doing this to "spite" the Packers, who have acted very professionally and classy since the split two years ago. Favre has done nothing but whine and complain and bash Green Bay.

I sincerely hope that the Packers DESTROY the Vikings both times they play. Favre is ruining his own good legacy, and it's a damn shame. Too bad he can't act with class as the Packers have.

As a neutral fan, I have only this left to say: Go Packers!

Check this blog out. Hilarious, and it puts the situation into perspective.

Scout.com is saying this; On the one hand, soaring players costs help limit the Packers to a $4 million profit last fiscal year. On the other hand, the difference between profit and loss was the cost of one free agent. Packer Report goes beyond the numbers to show the challenge of running a franchise and how both sides will use the data in the CBA talks.

well when BF ints you out of the Playoff contention and our GM makes us enough cash that we are fine,as Minn takes their show on the road to LA because we certainly don't want the grass fairies in Minnesota to play outdoors in the cold,so California is the place for you guys!

Watching the old man stroll along with no WR to throw to as he gets his old ass bounced off the astro turf in the hefty bag you call the Metrodome and as he wont see his many INT thrown as he is pounded in the ground.Bless that 1 TD 9 INT and his 46 qb rating and of course coming off an arm injury, have fun with the old man wanting to play only to beat his former team that got rid of him and hurt the loyal fans that supported him!
