Full story: CNN

I dont think theres a lot Harvin can do being he still has two years left on his contract. After being hurt Harvin needs to prove to the Vikings that he can still play at a high level of play this year. Once he proves he can then next season he should get what he is worth. If the Vikings offer is good & even if it was the team being the reason he wanted to be traded money talks as they say. I dont think Harvin would still want the trade if the money offer was large

Giving Harvin more money is a business decision, pure and simple. The guy gets migraines. Maybe he's had so many concussions thats what causes them. The correct "business" decision is not to invest long-term in somebody who has had head injuries. Then again he could be holding out because Childress no longer gives him herbage.

8/2/2009: Signed a five-year,$12.05 million contract. The deal contains $8.425 million guaranteed, including a $2,158,500 roster bonus in the third season. Another $2.2 million is available through incentives. Harvin is eligible for annual workout bonuses of $27,500 throughout the contract's life. 2012:$915,000, 2013:$1.55 million, 2014: Free Agent

Maybe harvin is upset that he doesn't play enough to get his incentives?

Maybe weed is going up in price.

Weed is really dumb for him. Shrooms would help the migraines.

Does an NFL placekicker have better distance at Invesco Field in Denver?
NFL/science question: From time to time a sportscaster or writer comments on an NFL kicker's success in the "high elevation" of Denver's Invesco Field. I understand that there's less air pressure when you're a mile above sea level, but does this really have an appreciable effect on a 55-yard field goal attempt?

Part of this is air pressure, no doubt, but I'd guess that part of it's psychological as well. Because there's this meme that field goals can be kicked further, kickers (and coaches) will approach long attempts in a more positive frame of mind, with - I would guess, given the amounts of money sports psychologists are paid - appreciable results.

From somebody who lives here the difference balls travel is about 9%, one club in golf, and yes, less break on a curveball. It stands to reason a 63 yard field goal is more like 57-58 yards
