The last thing this city needs is an NFL team. Afterall, who wants to travel to some of the worst areas in CA. Don't they remember what it was like when we had a team here? Besides all of that the Freeway system is miserable here with just everyday traffic. Also, what team in their right mind would want to play here? You say San Diego once but there were already here once. What happened? We lost the Rams to Orange County and they ended up moving. We will NEVER get the game on TV because the stadium (wherever it will be) will never be sold out which means less games on TV for us football fans.

... depending on WHERE in City of Industry this stadium is supposed to be built - will it be near any Freeways for access ?... will they be depending on the 10 , or 210 ? if so , good luck - both of those on a Sunday NOW even without a team is packed - the only other option would be the 60 , and still that fwy is jammed on weekends ... do people with these grand ideas of stadiums realize the logistics involved with people actually getting to these places ?... the only good option-site for a stadium is in the Golden Triangle in Orance County by the Pond , and Big-A - the best fwy access , and parking in So.Cal by far for ANY stadiums - but the NFL wants an "LA" team - so that will never happen ... So basically - they want to fill the stadium with no regard to actually GETTING there before halftime ... and all you East-Coasters who think we here in So Cal "aren't REAL fans" because our stadiums are half-full , try getting to a game in time for first pitch , first puck-rop , tip-off , or opening kick-off while sitting on fwys for 2-plus hours ... We love our teams w/a passion - it's just extremely difficult to get there to see them ...

The Chargers being the only original LA team might be a good choice but any other team including the Raiders would not work the Raiders already failed here.people in LA want a winner and won't wait long for one so if a team is not winning right away the fans won't come and besides there are so many fans of other teams here that it would be hard to get fans out to the games how are you going to get Steelers fans or Cowboys fans or Packers fans to root for the Vikings or Bills or Jaguars ? a lot of California people might get behind the Chargers or 49ers or Raiders but they would already be their fans so here in LA it wouldn't be that much. if we had an expansion team people could vote on a name, colors logo etc.. and root for the LA team and still be able to root for their favorite team but since expansion is unlikely i don't any team being much of a success here. and PLEASE if there is a God the Raiders will stay in Oakland.the only people who back the Raiders in LA are thugs and Gang Members most of whom are not even football fans and probably couldn't name more than 3 Raiders past or present. they just want to wear the apparel because it looks cool. well thats my 2 cents.

If one of these teams comes to LA - they should leave the team name with the city they are coming from. LA needs its own team with its own name.

and besides it would just be wrong to move the Vikings here with all the tradition and history they have up north same goes for the 49ers. the Jags might work or bring the Bills and change the name, logo colrs etc.

Of course LA deserves and should have a NFL team. People like me will finally have a team to root for. Currently I dont follow the NFL and refuse to follow it until there is a team here. Those complaining about traffic should move to Nebraska or some place similar. Its a way of life here and its not changing during our lifetimes. Bring back the Raiders!

I would say St louis and Jacksonville are the best opportunities. L.A. needs a team......but they also need to support it once it gets there!

Bring back the Bulldogs!! Seriously, I dont see an NFL team coming to Los Angeles. One of the great things about L.A. not having its own team is everybody roots for a different team which makes it interesting and fun in its own way. My friends and family all have there own team that they root for, from the Browns to the chargers. There is always a different game on t.v. every weekend which i really like. Try being in Buffalo where the only game you can watch is the bills. It gets boring after a while. Not having a team also allows us to showcase our two college teams. Go Trojans!!

LA needs a football team. we have 2 of everything else including soccer and hockey and we dont have a NFL team. THats bs. It would be great if the rams, raiders, or chargers moved back here, but it would also be good if we got our own original team with an LA name and logo etc

All of these nfl teams are going to use the new stadium as leverage to get better stadium deals for their teams. Why would anybody welcome back the raiders and rams after their owners left here for more money in other cities.

LA blew it's chance for expansion when the texans got it. The nfl wanted LA to have the last expansion team and served it to us on a silver platter and our city leaders screwed it up.

Greed should be the caption for this story. Has anyone asked the football fans in this town if they want a team. And in the event one does come to town it will not be affordable for 90% of the local residents. Furthermore if there is any effect whatsoever on my ability to watch the games I choose on Directv I will be canceling that subscription as well. It's time for somebody with some common sense to stick up for the real fans.

Keep the Raiders up North, they're a joke as long as Al Davis owns them. As for the others, as long as they change their complete name and have an ownership willing to spend $$ to make it a good team, I'm ok with any of them, but would prefer the RAMS.

Daily Horoscope for November 25

Gemini

The Moon and Mercury combine to create confusion, so don't take anything for granted today. A vindictive co-worker may be at the heart of today's misinformation: you could have stepped on this person's toes unknowingly. The only cure is to check, double check, and triple check before making any decisions. Then, keep looking over your shoulder for the rest of the day.
