Hard to beleive that Favre still has the arm strength that he has. Had some of the others had the same strength they would have came back too. The only thing slower is his foot speed, but his smarts make up for it.

He is amazing, that is for sure.

I think only Vince Evans, Steve Deberg, George Blanda, and Warren Moon hit 41 years of age when playing in the NFL at QB and starting.

They got some bone head named Schien stating that Favre and the Vikings are going to get their butts kicked by Green Bay, I say bring it on. Talk is cheap and I believe the Vikings will give it their best. Especially after being robbed by the officials and the Steelers. If the Pacjers win, cool beans, the Vikings will still be up on them by one game going into the bye. Go Vikings..

It is a good thing Troy Aikman is the color commentator of this game. He was great as a Q.B.-and his verbal skills are not skewed.

Will this game hurry up and START already!

Don't be disappointed if GB blows out the Vikes. Minn has played two very physical games and no bye week. The Vikings are going to need every bit of gas left in the tank to get by GB. The Vikings may be a better team, but on Sunday they will not keep up with GB intensity. If Minn wins, I would put them #2 in the league behind the Saints.

I wouldn't be surprised, but definitely disappointed (and done watching - it would be a HUGE insult to lose this one). Not only are the Vikes better than Gay Bay at virtually every position, the Pukes will be short their runt receiver Nelson (who "mysteriously" seems to get open when needed) and their 3rd round, newly-anointed rapper tight end hero and future Hall of Famer Jermain-ichael Findlay. Plus, Clifton, an average offensive lineman though better than the rest who are wayyyyyy below average, is hurt and not getting better. I smell something rotten about this game, and hope I'm wrong - losing it would make Favre as a Viking a bit of a mockery since much of the reason he unretired was to beat the Gay Boys at Lambow (believe what you want - this is an agreed-upon fact). This is yet another *defining* game, and a sweep is in order - Favre did it to us enough times past seasons.

Agreed upon by who? Packer fans? Analysts? Did he want to beat the Packers yes...but its not the main reason he wanted to come back.

After losing to Pitt Im hoping the Vikes got a big time attitude..Step up Bret and kick some GB butt and than all can forget about this dual garbage. For now Lambeau field is the OK corral. And Bret has the black hat.Any bets on Favre crying in the beginning of the game? If they cheer him he will be a sniveling wet nose candy ass. Watch. PLEASE! NO TEARS, Bret.

Favre coming back to Lambeau is a huge
test for him....He has to overcome emotions
and sentiment of this field.....that will be
the key...when he walks on to that field.....
the only thing he has to do is calm down....
take a deep breath, and play.....he is dedicated
to his new team....wants to do his part to win
just as he said from the beginning....this is
just another game on the schedule and is
important only because it is a divisional game..
it is not peronal....it is business.....

who has Green Bay really played that has a winning record? Maybe one team so far this year but I know one thing the Green Bay fans need to move on with life Favre is a ball player some times great ball players either get traded or move on them selves, thats life so packer fans get one and cheer on your new quarter back and your team that you have now.if you guys win great if the vikings win great fans at Lambeau you need to respect the man, he did give you how many years and a supper bowl title so you all need to give this man a standing ovation when he returns he earned that respect

Before we had the Vikes most of us around Minnesota cheered for Green Bay,some for Chicago Cards or Bears. Long before that we had the Marines and Millers and Duluth had the Eskimos. These sport businesses come and go. Players come and go. Favre owes nothing to Green Bay, nor to Minnesota for that matter. He should go in the HOF just as #4. As for Aikman he earned it as a player his skills of understanding the broadcasting business lack a total picture. When selling something ( as he is suppose to do ) then sell it on all points. Aikman is the one who should retire as a broadcaster.

Well.... if the only reason he came back was to beat the Packers, then Vikings fan can kiss a Superbowl goodbye. Favre will have used you like a little puppet. Just like he did to the Jets.
