"I know people who live in Green Bay and they hate him for what he has done!! He had destroyed the loyalty and unity Packer fans have had for years....."

Oh wow, you know people that live in Green Bay? Should we give you brownie points, I bet you know like 2 people and they offer the viewpoint of the majority of Packer fans. If you want some actual facts the Milwaukee Journal did an online survey a month ago asking whether Packer fans supported Favre. ONLY 10 PERCENT STILL DID!!!! MOST Packer fans are done with Favre and HE is the person that has destroyed the loyalty NOT THOMPSON. Just another stupid Vikes fan pretending they know what rival fans are actually thinking. MORONS!!!!!!!

MJS or GBPG = small sample size, just sayin'. Same goes for PP or ST for Vikes fans. 10 percent of what? Packer fans on an online message board? Surely, you don't think that the number of people who voted online equals the number of people in your fanbase? Yeah, Brett Favre waffled back and forth over retirement, but who in there right mind slams the door on a future HOF quarterback? Ted Thompson did. Oh well, his/your loss is our gain!

My God, Most Viking fans must have the IQ of a dried up raisin. So some hack on here that knows some people in Green Bay has a better idea of support for Favre than Wisconsin's most popular newspaper's own poll? Nobody has the numbers for the ENTIRE FANBASE, so we don't know the exact statistics. It's no different than Gallup polls before Presidential elections, but it at least gives an idea of how a large sample of people feel. Viking fans need to get over the idea that this is the Favre of two or 10 years ago and enjoy the crucial INT's he throws. I guess an old Favre is still better than the rest of the idiots you have and have had at QB the last couple of seasons.

I remember poor coaching that game. I also remember him having to make a play and for many years he wasnt provided what the Vikings are offering. A solid team. Unfortunately I will not be abe to make the games but shall be watching on TV should be a fun year....

He is far from washed up. and Packer fans and management know this fact. Never thought I would buy a Vikings jersey but i must add one to my "Favre collection. Atlanta, GB, Jets and now Vikes. A nice colorful collection.

TT and MM took away much from Packer Nation. I was embarrased by managements actions.

Well, of coure the Favres' put a 'deposit' on a condo in Edina! THAT was only to throw the 'popper-rotsores' off the track. Cmon, men! Brett ain't no "cliff dweller" & neither is Deanna ( nor are the daughters).

The Favre family is not going to trade 500 acres in Hattiesburg for a cave in Edina, not even for 7 months! Favre knows Minnesota is some of the BEST deer hunting and game fishing action in the entire US! Brett will have a spread of some kind where the air is air and he can hunt during the "bye week".( Won't that be refreshing instead of the "party boat" debaucle!! You newshounds won't be privy to the location, however. Brett has figured you guys out after he recovered from the stab wounds in his back at th hands of the Green Bay Press Regret, ESPN, SI, & all the "un-named sources!"

One more thing. The Viking players better not be so high & mighty toward Favre. He is not coming to "take over". He is coming to HELP them win so they better be the ones to step right up & make him feel warmly welcomed right at the threshhold, like their mommas raised them to be..polite and courteous! He ain't no ordinary dude and they ALL need to get off on the right foot.

One more thing..about Brett and his love of deer hunting. He prefers bow & arrow hunting rather than rifle. Rifles are noisy & one could easily be mistaken for a deer by some trigger happy tenderfoot who might fire a shot in the directionof a twig snap.

So, bow & arrow hunting is quiet in the woods. It's peaceful and restful. Also, something few of you know, Brett doesn't shoot the arrows..he THROWS them! He uses the bow to play deer calls on. AND, Brett IS NOT a 'catch and release' dude. He plays for keeps but he is not greedy. He leaves something for the next guy. See what I'm saying.? "I'll leave the light on for ya!"

I am formerly from Green Bay and have been a Packers fan much of my 80 some years--I loved Brett Favre -hope that he is able to throw as he did for the "Pack" and that he will beat the crap out of the Packers after the way they treated him. Thompson and McCarthy-also Murphy should be thrown out of Green Bay-get on McCarthy's train that left the station. Go Vikings!!!!!!

I have such nice fans. Blind and dumb but nice none the less. Welcome aboard bandwagoner, join the rest who will be laughing at me when I fail to take this team to the Super Bowl. Be sure to buy one of my Vikings jerseys. I will have a new team jersey next season.

Look at Brents QB rating.
It has been very low for the past few years.

I wonder why ?

Has he been hurt for year ?

Hey Engels...YOU were never a Packer fan, Likely one that only started to follow them during the strong years of the late 90's.

Oh how uninformed can you be.
TT did what was best for the team and 80% of the state is behind him.

Oh why did they trade a draft pick to get me if this Favre drama is going on? It must be because I impressed Chilly with me giving up a 17 point lead in the 4th qtr last year by turning the ball over.

Daily Horoscope for November 23

Gemini

You may have to take a trip at a moment's notice, so don't let the unexpected jangle your nerves. Look at the day as an adventure, and welcome unexpected twists and turns. The Twins have been far too predictable lately and could use a change of pace, anyway. Those of you who end up staying planted in terra firma could find yourself on a journey of the mind, as philosophical debate turns into an intellectual adventure!
