The quality of character that Brian Young displays by coming back to El Paso and putting on camps for local kids is inspiring. He and Ray Mickens have played at the highest levels in sport but never fail to give back to their community. We have much to learn from these athletes as we squabble over petty issues that prevent our hometown from moving forward. Brian, well done and El Paso will never forget you.

I know he will succeed. It looks like he has coaching blood in him and I pray for his knee to be ok for him to pursue that dream. God bless him in the future in whatever he does.

Brian's a great guy. It sucks to know that he can't play in the NFL anymore but I'm sure he'll come out of this great. He really deserves it.

I liked Brian Young, He was one of those guys that you hear coaches refer to as "a guy that has a motor". When healthy he was not bad at all.

Why don't you and El Chez crawl back under the rock you both came out from under and share a sloppy, wet Chico's Tacos-style kiss, Rump Ranger? Brian Young would wipe the floor with El Chez and then wipe his a * s * s with you.

El Chez is either showing his ignorance or immaturity again. I wouldn't be surprised if he was just a ten year old boy that snuck off to use the computer withour permission when his Mom wasn't looking. At least thats the way he comes across, as a spoiled little boy.

Known dude since I was trying to get my act together at Terrace Hills.
Where ever dude goes, they'll be lucky to have him. He's one of those guys you wished you really paid more attention to for character in high school off the football field.
Congrats Brian

I don't get it. Why is Brian Young a Loser? He has accomplished success in his life. why are you angry at El Paso? Brian Young is a legend/ hero in El Paso. He has dedicated his life to giving and making people happy. He has always help out people in need. I don't understand why you put hate out there.

El Chez is the perfect example of someone who never got picked for the team, not even in P.E. class. Probably got left out when the girls were playing hopskotch too. So he left EP on a Greyhound Bus and mops floors now in a Dollar Store in Dallas. Way to go! As for Brian Young, congrats on a successful career at the highest level and hopefully you'll pass the proverbial torch on to another young El Pasoan who will carry it proudly.

Why so much hate? I am still wondering why Brian Young is a looser. Brian has accomplished more in his young life than 98% of the people in this world ever do. what I mean is that he is a great human being. something that most of us fail at.

It is easy to say things on these pages because no one knows who you really are. Some people choose to be insulting, use the forum to agitate people, and say things they would not say if people knew who they were or face to face. You know he would not say these things face to face with a class act like Brian Young.

El Chez and the rest of the babosos like him are the type of people who laugh when someone says "duty" like Beavis and Butthead used. What an immature, good-for-nothing, piece of s*hit? El Chez, go get a place of your own and stop mooching off mom and dad.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Sagittarius

Happy New Year, Saggitarius! Despite the headache, your motivation level is high today, setting a trend for the rest of the year. You'll be surrounded by relatives and friends all year and will work passionately to help them, as you do. Things go smoothly today, and you're absorbed with the duties of new year. Be careful that you don't neglect your own health, though. You can't help others if you're run down.
