Good that the Patriots are No. 1. I'd rather see someone other than the Colts favored. Our horses play better when the press say they are doing poorly. Colts like to kick when they are antagonized.

Did anyone see the colts not making any moves this off season as a surprise? I still don't know why we can never seem to pick up ANY good free agents in the off season. Who knows?

Quite a bit of rationalizing going on here. Hope you feel better now, Bob. You would only compare the Colts with the Brewers if the Brewers "had just won a world championship." Does Bob Kraft really remind you of Daniel Snyder? How many championships has he won? Do you think that Bill Belichick is making parade plans? The Patriots have gone out to address their weaknesses. They did it within league rules and within the same salary cap as the Colts. The Colts probably would have done more, but they spent all their money on a field goal kicker.

Nobody is saying the Patriots stole anything or that they werent fair in making these deals. They have a good team full of new guys, so we will just see how they gel. All I know is that the patriots had the Colts down and buried in the playoffs and we all know how that turned out. The bottom line is that the Colts and Patriots will be in the playoffs again next year and then one game will decide who moves on. Doesnt matter if one team goes 16-0 and one goes 15-1, the playoff game is all that matters. The Colts showed last year that all it takes is a team putting it together and going on a run. Baltmimore was better than us....the patriots were beating us down....the Chiefs were supposed to run all over us. Who's got the trophy though? The patriots offense is definitely improved, but their defense is old and slow and one linebacker aint going to make enough difference to keep the colts from putting up 40 again. New year....same old story.

How can you mention Daniel Snyder in the same breath with Scot Pioli and Belichick with the former winning nothing and the second two winning 3 Super Bowls with the 4th coming next year. What was the point of the Colt's drafting a receiver and og when they are only going to be playing a few series against the Pats next year since the Pats are going to be busy driving up and down the field with all their new offensive additions against the Colts defense and all their defections? Since the Colts lost their 2 starting corners and Cato June (who was also a good cover guy, who in the heck is going to guard the Pat's newly motivated MOSS, STALLWORTH, WELKER and WATSON. Don't tell me how the Colt's new rookies and bench warmers from last year are going to stop that express train. The Colt's lost a lot of defensive EXPERIENCE and DEPHT when those players left and I don't believe any idiot that believes experience and depht do not count in the NFL. Remember also that along with all that new explosive talent the Pats have aquired, they have added an all pro linebacker and a first round safety (short on character but not on talent) from a defense that was rated 5th in the league last year. There was not much difference between the Colts and Pats last year but now you could drive a freight train betwwen the two.

No there was a huge difference between the Colts last year and the Patriots. The Colts offense was twice as talented and the Patriots defense was marginally better than the Colts. Now the Colts and Patriots are about even in talent on offense, but the Colts are still much more in-sync mentally than Brady, Moss and Stallworth could ever hope to be. I would say the defenses are very even. The patriots needed Thomas because all of your playmakers are old and getting older. If our defense plays anwhere near what we had in the playoffs last year, we will still be almost impossible to beat.

You know with all this pre-draft, draft, and post-draft jockeying not only from the Pats and Colts don't mean squat. I think I'll wait and see what the playoff picture looks like in early Dec before I start worrying about the world ending on draft day. If anybody knows anything about the NFL, draft picks, and 16 games seasons. They would know that all the ink and paper in the world hasn't gotten any team to the Superbowl. What has is game prep, player management, coaching, a little luck and everything else. You know all the things that normal and even abnormal fans don't think or even know about. That's why they play the games. If you don't think so, just take a look at the last Houston-Indy game. After that one I bet nobody would have pick the Colts to win it all. Honestly I didn't. As far as next season, I'll just wait for it to start and let the people who get paided worry about dotting the I's and crossing the T's until then. Once it does start I'll watch all Colts games and a few on the side. Pull for the win and hope for some really good games too boot, thank you very much. Until then just RELAX.
GO COLTS...

Also wanted to say I have been to Prague in the Czech and it is a beautiful city. Very cheap as well. I saw the Rolling Stones in Prague in the summer of 02. Watch out for the green absinthe monster. He got me while I was there and I dont think I have ever been the same. 2 most beautiful cities I have been to in Europe are Prague, Czech and Interlaaken, Switzerland.

Same thing said just a different year. I can tell you dont know much about the Colts at all!! Every year everyone says we lost way too much, do dont re-sign our players, and we dont sign any free agents, but every year we are 13-3 and in the playoffs. And you are going to brag about Stallworth? Really?? There is only one person in the NFL that takes off more plays then Stallworth and that is MOSS!!! HA HA Oh yeah and in case you didnt know we run the cover-2 so no one has to match up one on one with Moss. Then with Sanders, Beatha, and Jackson hitting Moss like a ton of bricks all day they will chop that tree down!! Colts have the best O in the NFL and it just got better of the weekend. The only train that will be running is the one Bob Sanders will be driving over Moss's A$$!!

Why is it the Dan Synder trophy? Moss left 27 million on the table to join the Pats. He restructured his deal next yeat to 3 million from 6. He want to win and the Colts better be ready.
