2 I understand what you're saying, but I think you have LT all wrong. Yes, he likes to bring up the SB loss, but a lot of that has to do with the abuse he (and many of the rest of us) had to endure during the Pats unbeaten streak at the hands of other Pats fans. I'm sure you will acknowledge the scorched-earth approach that many of those fans used during that period with regard to any discussion about football competency that did not immediately genuflect at the mention of the Patriots, or Tom Brady. LT took his share of abuse, and then some, up to the SB. After the upset, he started giving it back, in spades. He has never stopped. Now he just does it to poke at a sensitive nerve. As I said before, he's having fun with it. Do I believe that he's beating a dead horse? Yes, I do. It's probably time to move on. Most of the really over-the-top fans will remember the '07-'08 season and temper their comments. There's no need to keep reminding them of what happened. You know, there are a few Pats fans who have big problems with me. During this very active rivalry we share, I've had many heated discussions about Manning, and the playoff-readiness of the Colts. I'm sure you've heard the "Manning chokes" diatribes, and "the Colts are soft/losers" comments because of the early losses in the playoffs. The only way I've ever found to appease those fanatics was to either ignore them, or present them with as many facts as possible to refute their claims, and pray until my hands bled that the Colts would finally win. They did, and now, most of the negative comments have either stopped, or have a little more substance to them and are not as harsh. |

1 Anyway, how do you see the colts & pats game? You think youll steam roll over us? And if so, can you see the colts going undefeated looking ahead?[/QUOTE] I'm always excited to find a rival fan who I can go back and forth with during the course of the season. I kind of feel like the Colts are still in the AFC East since they play the Pats at least once every year. Both teams know each other's tendencies so well, it's like playing a division rival. I'm having a hard time nailing down this year's game. The Colts are the Colts. Regardless of opponent, they will have an energized and quick defense with one of the best secondaries and pass rushes in the league, a paltry running game, and an explosive, quick-scoring passing game. The big improvement this year is that they can actually stop the run. Unless, of course, it comes in the form of a wildcat, then all bets are off. They'll probably score about 30 points. The Pats are rounding into themselves, again. Yes, they've lost a couple of games (and probably should have lost the Buffalo game), but they were early, and Brady was readjusting to his teammates. I think we can put a check by that. The running game is in about the same state as the Colts running game. The defense has played very well, even in the losses, and the passing game has hit its stride. Yeah, yeah, I know. They've played some pretty bad teams, but so have the Colts. The Pats have actually played a much tougher schedule, up to this point, than the Colts, and yet the stats are almost identical. That's scary. This is probably the second toughest defense the Pats have seen all year, and the strongest offense the Colts have faced all year. The key to this game is how well the Colts' secondary handles Welker, and how well the Pats' secondary covers Clark. I believe the home field advantage is enough to carry the Colts, but not by much. Colts in a squeaker 30-27 win. As far as running the table goes, I don't even want to think about it. We're not even half way through the season. I can't believe Reggie Bush opened his mouth and made those predictions: He will be league MVP, and, The Saints will go 19-0. Wow. |

he spy film shows that Reggie Bush wil be eating crow like the 18-1 Pats did.

2 So you'll take a ten point win over the lowly dolphins then? It sure goes well with wins against the winless Titans and bucaneers. and lets not forget that personal foul fueled win against the ravens. For some reason I'm not convinced he's not overrated |

1 you patriot and brady haters ALWAYS have a lame excuse to try and discredit their success.your not convinced? try this on for size.a sixth round draft pick who at the age of 32has the highest winning percentage of any quarterback in nfl history.three superbowl wins in four tries, would have had four out of four if his defense didn't choke in the last two minutes of the game.two time superbowl mvp,won with a bunch of no names at wide receiver and running backs.face it, you don't like brady because he has everything you wish you had in life, stop being a phony like the rest of the jealous patriot and brady haters. |

3 OK, yes you are right. Tom Brady is the best QB in football. The spy film shows that I have been a complete jealous creep and put stupid comments on these blogs because I have nothing better to do with my life. I sincerely apologize to the Patriots and their fans for my stupitey. Hope you can all forgive me. |

1 He could be one of those walking beer vendors. But the spy film shows he could only carry no more than 18 beers. He tried for a perfect tray of 19 but dropped one. |

1 True he won three titles. Other quarterbacks have done this. He is by far the worst qusrterback to do so. He won them playing a reserved, game manager on offense. His role has expanded since then, but the success has not been there. Was part of a record setting offense in 2007. Did so after his owners bought hima new offense. Coach Belichek then ran a shoot and run offense to take advantage of great pass protection and an incredibly soft schedule. |

1 hmmmmmmmm!so,you know more than 32 head coaches in the national football league, more than hall of fame quarterbacks like joe montana, dan marino, terry bradshaw, troy aikman, more than the overwhelming pro bowl nfl players who have publicly stated that tom brady is a ''GREAT'' quarterback.your embarassing yourself son with your inane, insane, lame,no brain comments.peyton manning has been a starting quarterback since 1998 i believe,a first round pick, has had the benefit of great receivers, great running backs, great offensive line for years, and has won only 1 superbowl.in your diatribe about being ''overrated'constitute someone like peyton manning being in that catagory as well?. |
