http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mock... I like the pick here but I also want the Vikes to try & get back into the frist round & hope that CB Morris Claiborne was there for them This would be two perfect draft picks for the Vikes in 2012.

Its been damn close to 40 yrs since someone has done it.GB hasn't played a consistent or complete game yet.WHen they hit full stride? who knows? but they are all pros they playing, so that's a very tough road.

Hell no! They will stumble somewhere, or the opposition will start hitting Rogers in the head. No better way to shut them down than giving Rogers multiple concussions and making Captain Binghamton (Flynn) lead the team to a few losses

With that offense, they can beat almost anyone with Matt Flynn at qb.They will lose somewhere down the line and id imagine they will prob lose 2 or 3 this year.

Agreed. We have not seen a complete, consistent game out of the Packers. Somewhere they'll lose a game they shouldn't which in reality is not a bad thing. At San Diego and at Detroit will be very tough games. I am going Kansas City in December to watch that game. Arrowhead is a very tough place for any visiting team. We haven't seen the best of this team. When we do it will be pure joy to watch.

Id love to see a game at KC! and maybe one day ill get there.Detroit will be a tough one for sure.Never count out Chi with that defense, Esp playing on Christmas in the cold.Detroit on Thanksgiving and New Years,so GB get to be the only team in NFL history to play on all 3 major holidays, talk about pushing the SB champs into prime time!

Im not sure what to expect this week.Ponder and his 1st NFL start,no tape on him so who knows what his strength and weaknesses are, but, his first start, hes not knowing the speed of the game except for the bits he may have played so far so its a plus and minus.Adrian Peterson is an NFL best so ALWAYS keep an eye on him because you never know when a 32 carry 220Yrd game is coming..Should GB win? id think so,BUT,this is also a team that beat ARI by quite a bit,Lost 3 games but had nice leads in those said games and really the only game they didnt seem competitive was last week vs Chi.Id expect Minn crowd to be LOUD,the 1st round pick qb is starting so players will be pushing and helping the kid adn if GB takes them lightly, you never know. The good thing is Coach McCarthy WONT let them forget the team hasnt played a complete game and this is the Minnesota Vikings coming up, a division rival,a hated Rival ( which the players know of course but) Mc. wont let them take it easy and take Minn for granted.I respect Minn as a team and im sure coach Mc and his staff and players do to.

Another mistake by Frazier.
You don't tell the SB champs who is starting if you have that option. Let them prepare for both McNasty and Ponder, we need every advantage we can get.

And what about flipping the bird around the stadium by Clay? I heard very little about the incident, and only heard it mentioned once on TV after the game. More favortism for the packers, but what else is new.
They must be grooming Clay for more commercials of him trying to pinch one off, so they don't want to tarnish his reputation by showing off his immaturity.

Whoops, it was AJ Hawk.
The media wouldn't be saving his skin, he's as ugly as they come, kind of fits right in with those jerseys.

Gift No. 1? The Packers open against the Saints in a game matching the last two Super Bowl winners. The home team is 7-0 since the defending Super Bowl champion started hosting the opening game in 2004. There are no guarantees, of course, but a victory over the Saints would give the Packers a leg up on one of the teams expected to contend in the NFC.

But the 2011 schedule could become the gift that keeps on giving for the Packers. They will hit all the major holidays — at Detroit for Thanksgiving, Chicago and Detroit at Lambeau on Christmas Day (night) and New Year's Day, respectively — but the advantageous part is they will play their final two games at home. In fact, their final five games could all be played in inclement conditions, a real break for a cold-weather team.

As expected, the Packers will be on national television more than the Duke basketball team. They will have the maximum number of night games allowed — four — and will play at Detroit on Thanksgiving Day, a game in which coach Mike McCarthy has a 2-0 record. More good news was that three of their four night games — New Orleans, Minnesota and Chicago — are at home. In regular-season night games under McCarthy, the Packers are 6-2 at home and 2-8 on the road.

Another potential break? The Packers have five games against 2010 playoff teams and three of them are in the first five games. After the opener against New Orleans, Green Bay will go to Chicago for a rematch of the NFC Championship Game in Week 3 and to Atlanta, the NFC's No. 1 playoff seed last year, in week 5. The good news is the Packers roster is so stable they should be more prepared than most teams to play well early should the off-season be truncated due to the labor strife.

There were two other good signs for the Packers — the home schedule looks ridicuously easy and they have a bye week before making the long trip to San Diego — and one potentially difficult stretch, a three-games-in-11-days test that ends with the game at Detroit. But even then, the first two games — Minnesota and Tampa Bay — will be played at home.

It should be remembered that the defending champion never has an easy schedule because every team is gunning for it. However, the Packers were handed a favorable schedule by the NFL, which means the debate can now turn to how well they'll do in the regular season.

Assuming there is a regular season, that is.
I guess that should prove sometime right?

Green Bay — On paper at least, the Green Bay Packers will play a slightly less challenging schedule in 2011 than they just got through playing in 2010.

The Packers' opponents for next season, which were determined by formula, had a composite record of 130-126, or a winning percentage of .508.

This season, their opponents were 133-123, for a winning percentage of .520.

In 2011, Green Bay will play five games against opponents that made the playoffs. This season, the Packers wound up playing six games against playoff teams.

Next year at home, the Packers will play New Orleans (11-5), Tampa Bay (10-6), Denver (4-12), Oakland (8-8) and St. Louis (7-9).

On the road, the Packers will play Atlanta (13-3), Carolina (2-14), Kansas City (10-6), San Diego (9-7) and the New York Giants (10-6).

In addition, the Packers will play home-and-away series against NFC North foes Chicago (11-5), Detroit (6-10) and Minnesota (6-10).

In 2010, the NFC North teams were matched against the NFC East and the AFC East. The AFC East tied for first in best-overall record (36-28) of any division, and the NFC East was fifth at 32-32.

Next season, the NFC North clubs will be matched against the NFC South and the AFC West. The NFC South tied for the best record (36-28), whereas the AFC West finished sixth at 31-33.

Denver will be making its first appearance at Lambeau Field since 2003. Conversely, the Packers will be making their first trip to San Diego since 2003.

I had to explain “strength of schedule” and how it works to you before.

Why is it so F***ing hard for Viking fans to figure it out? I am going to be honest I didn’t read everything you just posted because from past experience it is a waist of time.

In short, for you and all the other window lickers on the short bus

“In the NFL the 32 teams don't face each other in a season, since there are only 16 games per season. The NFL is divided into 2 conferences, which is further divided into 4 divisions per conference. Each team plays a team from their division twice, teams from another division in the same conference once in a three-year cycle, teams from another division of the other conference once in a four-year cycle, and two other teams having the same places in the conference from the prior season. In other words, a weak team would play other weak teams, while a team will play the teams from their division no matter the strength”-Wikipedia

Can Green Bay finish 16-0?
YES!

Will they finish 16-0?
YES!(My predication of course)

I can also imagine they lose a game here or there but I think they will go undefeated. They have some tough games and it isn’t that unreasonable to assume they have a stumble and lose a game they should have won or have some major injury problems bla blab la…. However I think they are a better team then anyone they face for the rest of the season, and I think they will get even better. So to me it makes sense 16-0. In fact I say 1st round bye and another Super Bowl Title

19-0!

FACT: The only team in the NFL season that can finish undefeated this season is the GREEN BAY PACKERS!

The Packers should have one of the easiest games of the year this week and win by at least 30 points. The only way the score will be within 3 scores is if the Packers are too busy planning bye week vacations to prepare worth a crap this week AND have hangovers on Sunday from drinking all week.

Sorry, that was aimed at your scandinavian sister.
I guess there's an obtuse idiot on every continent, the title here in the states is obviously yours to lose.
