What do you guys think?

Can we rustle up 8 guys to do a 2 conference/head to head/8 team league this year?

I think it would be awesome to do one for forum bragging rights.

Let me know if you guys are in, We'll do it on yahoo. I'm willing to commish if no one else wants to, but I've never had any experience, so if someone else wants to thats great too.

Again, we need at least 8 guys, 10 is good, but anymore and it gets too hard. We can set up the draft on AIM too. Other Suggestions are welcome.

I'd like to see:

Myself
Fran
Mag
Childress
CLF
Stubby
Loyal
Buddy Grant

Most others are welcome, and I don't mean to single anyone out. Proball and MOST others are welcome. We can determine who is in or out after we gauge interest.

Post away, let me know what you guys think.

I'm in. I played in CLF's league last year and it was a lot of fun. I believe CLF is starting one up already. Maybe we can join his or if he hasn't started yet, lets get one going.
What do you say Adam?

We also were in a 'One and done" league too. That was real simple to play and I ended up tying for 1st with none other than Dave from Albany ("No more Rexcuses)of all people!

Shit, we can all join my league...Fran can vouch for my 'fiduciary' responsibility. If you're talkin' no pay, then start one up and I'll join.

We had 10 teams last year, charged $50... we found we had to do it to as to keep people loyal and not drop out after they lose 2 games in a row.

I'm in for anything.

Fran, we usually sign up for our league around July, I'll keep you posted.

How many teams total can we have? Are most of the guys from last year going to play this year?

JD, depending on how many people can join CLF's league, maybe we ought to just join his?
Unless you don't want to have any prize money?
If you want to form one just for fun and bragging rights, I'll join that one too.

One other thing CLF, are you going to organize the "Last man standing" league too?
That was a kick.

Yeah, that's real easy to do....I might start multiple if I lose as fast as I did last year!(a sure win is never a sure win)

I'll join both, thats cool.

I'm pretty sure the guys on here won't quit, but if there's a space in CLF's league I'll definitely join that one.

As long as we keep it under 10 teams, I was in a 16 team league last year and It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, no joke. You pretty much have to know every players match up every week to do well.

I'm with you on the 10 team limit.
Last year was my first year and it was some work!
I'll join up when you get it up and running. Just let me know.

Year of the Lion (YOL); Count me in on yours too.
How many teams will we have?

12 teams is max for yahoo, I believe.

I recommend using Yahoo as it seems to be the 'pioneer' of simplicity and efficiency.(Plus, their online draft setup is the shit)

JD, I'll use your Mr. Giggles...or is it Jiggles yahoo address when we get ours going.

12 is a good #.... making it just the right amount of toughness.(and makes the draft deep and more important.)

Hey buddy, how's the fun and sun in Fla? We had a little heat wave here over the weekend but it cooled down now (only mid 80's today, low hum.) We've been hanging outside with a cold one and making some very good deer steaks on the grill. Here's a quick, easy, recipe for your hot dogs.

1-can Hormel chili (without beans)
1-jar cheese whiz

Heat chili, stir in cheese whiz, put it on hot dogs or, use it as a dip for nachos. MMM MMM GOOD! I'm not kidding. if you make too much, freeze it. It's still good. I love summer! I hope you two are enjoying your life down there. I'll talk again soon.

League ID#: 32567
League Name: Minnesota Vikings Forum
Password:*********
Draft Type: Live Draft
Draft Time: Sun Jul 27 6:30pm CDT

Email me at: mr.jiggles911@yahoo.com for the password.

We can discuss and change the rules any time we want and set them so we all agree. I'd like to keep this league set for forum bragging rights since I'm going to be in several this year, although if you guys want to end up making a wager we can discuss that as well.

If we can bump the draft up a week to August 3rd, it'd be much appreciated!(I have 2 huge regattas in a row the last 2 weeks in July.)

Thanks if you can do it!
