who are these players...TJACK is probably the best off season QB in the history of the NFL...now the regular season etc.,etc., is a whole different animal altogether!it's this kind of thinking for 3+ years that has us in the pickle we are in.

This isn't starting out as well as I hoped it would.
Grumbling in the locker room. Andrews pulling for Favre but hardly giving the shoulder a ringing endorsement. A fan base that's drunk on the notion that the Vikes will make it to the Super Bowl (and win) with an aging quarterback who will have worked with his running backs, center and receivers for fewer than two months when the season starts. Let's take it game by game and look at making the playoffs first. After all, when Moss was at his best, everyone was just certain they'd win the Super Bowl. We know how that worked out.

Are these players who endorse Jackson the same ones that contended he was lazy when it came to work-outs and learning to read defenses? Jackson panics, is inaccurate, does not have the mental understanding of knowing when to adjust, and just does not have the savy to be a leading QB...not even in arena football.

What really annoys me is you armchair QB's that repeat and mix up what you read or just take it as
if the reporter really knows what he's talking about. These guys create stories for people like you.
T Jack has plenty of ability, he can read defenses
9td's 2ints,must have leadership his team mates want him to start,is very athletic, has a strong arm, but I have to admit is hampered by a coach that micro manages the game.Look at the history here. about 6-7 veteran QB's tried to run this offense under the tight control of Childress. Some even complained like Brad Johnson. There was no difference in play calling with T Jack or any other QB. Childress wants the play ran the way he calls it. This leads to the QB's not getting to audiable and all of them looking like they can't play. I'm sure that Brett Favre had this talk with
Chilly and told him I will change the plays as I need to and if you can't loosen up the reins don't expect me to be your QB.I think the improvement would be drastic for any QB including T Jack if Brad would loosen up a litle. Of course who ever Q B's is going to be better this year with Harvin and a Rt Tackle that can keep the defense out of the backfield. There are many many people out there that Like T Jack. But the complainers spend more time writing and believing what they here.Go T Jack

The Vikings players are tough guys. It's not about their being "thrilled" by anybody, much less a quarterback. When our QB provides the necessary leadership skills and gunslinger instincts, the Viking players will come around fast enough. Skol Vikings!

Signing Favre is more about selling tickets than about winning games.

Who's quarterbacking the Vikings stadium drive?

No new stadium, no MN Vikings after the 2011 season.

everyone knows that the Vikes will be the team to beat this year whether its favre, jackson, sage, or even booty in at qb. This viking team is set up to win and every other team and their fans are already marking down a loss on the sundays they will be playing the purple. All these guys that do the hatin are just sore and upset over the fact the vikings are going to dominate and they do not know how to release the frustration. Go to Rickys house, smoke a J, and relax with some good ol' Yoga - that seems to help some people.

I agree. Sure, Tarvaris MIGHT be doing well during the off-season at Winter Park when he's playing members of his own team, and wheb the play-offs AREN'T on the line.........but what about when the HEAT IS ON, and it's time for him to perform? And there's 3 minutes left ia a game that the whole season is riding on?!?? He chokes...EVERY TIME! Maybe he can learn something from Favre this year, and get better for next year.

Well, apparently you must care or you wouldn't have read this far and posted a comment.

Most of the players want BF. So there may be one or two who don't, so what. When have you ever known all the players to like who a team picked up or who they cut? The media is more trying to stir up the works to sell a story.
