Cobbs has always produced when given the opportunity.
I guess this is where clock speed and draft order come into play. t's about time someone has given him a chance. |

I know Patrick through a business relationship and he is one of the nicest and most respectable people you will ever meet. I am very happy for his success and I understand why the coaching staff likes him so much. He will do whatever you ask and is actually grateful for the opportunity to play in the NFL. That is why he succeeds.

Maybe he can play DB? worth a shot... go welker.. I mean Cobbs

These type of guys, Jim Jenson comes to mind, you can't have enough of them on the team. These are the guys that didn't excell at the combine, they are just football players. And we were wondering why Cobbs was the 3rd down back entering the season.

I'm just not sold on this guy other than spot duty. It will be a BIG mistake to take time away from Ronnie for this guy.
A nice little story but he's no superstar. |
How pitiful is the team when they're writing about Patrick Cobb?......HAHA
We are set at running backs with the guys we have. Our offence is lacking cause our WR SUCK. i dont understand how wilford can't get on the field, Ginn thank u cam u clown. Sad when Camarillo is our best WR, we are in trouble there. Our Defence needs a big nose tackle like Jay Ratliff and DE like JT and a new secondary except for Bell. Will Allen is horrible, if he makes that pick b4 half its a different game.

Over 200 receiving yards in the last two games...I'd say that's a pretty good reason to write a story.

Guy is busting his butt and making the team. Great guy and hope he continues living the dream.

He's not a superstar and never will be, but he is a playmaker and you can't have enough playmakers. Cobbs is what he is, a feel good story. Don't try to read too much into this story. If we had 53 Cobbs on this team we wouldn't win an SB, but if we had 53 guys giving the effort he does we might.
It doesn't matter if he takes time away from Ronnie as long as we get results. Cobbs is effective, because he isn't double teamed or schemed for, but if he was the #1 option we'd be in trouble. Why was NE so effective all those yrs? Because they threw the ball all over the field, not just to one guy. |
Well said. People forget Cobb had opportunities running the ball last year and did ok but didn't light things up. He had some really good flashes that showed what he could do. I think he will excell in the way he is being used and not necessarily in a starting role. Cobbs deserves this as his efforts have always shown through. I hope his success continues and he continues making big plays for this Team. As long as he does, this Regime will keep him around. |

MIAMI GARDENS — Arnie Parlamento of Boynton Beach was a loyal Dolphins season-ticket holder from 1979 through 2006. But when the Dolphins told him prior to last season that the price of his end-zone seats would rise by more than 40 percent, he'd had enough.
"There was no direction to the team; I knew they were going to be pretty bad," he said. "So I went out and bought a high-definition TV with that money and bought the NFL package. Now, if the Dolphins game is bad, there are a lot of other ones I can watch. "I don't think I'll ever go back to being a season-ticket holder." |

pay no mind to the haters (jets fans) keep it up dude..we need all the playmakers we can get...

"Everything he did, he was so unselfish, so team-oriented," Dickey said. "How many top-flight running backs do you know that will line up on the punt block team?"

It's impressive enough when a player fights his way from the practice squad to the active roster...only to find out the active roster is no better than the practice squad.
dolphins suck. |
Good for Cobbs...Go FINS.. Now get some wide receivers who can play...( other than camarillo)

Oh yeah. Almost forgot.The J E T S... S T I N K..!!!!!Go Fins Go!!!

Harvey says Ricky needs more touches, and he wears down defenses as the game goes on. Thank you Harvey! Thats the same thing I have been saying all week. Now can you mention that to Sporano in the next media session? as for Cobbs, he's like a breath of fresh air for this stalled offense, keep working him into the mix and good things will continue to happen. Also, we are going to win...GO PHINS!!!

Kevin, I respect your opinion, but I would hardly qualify 14 attempts for the year as opportunity. |

You have to understand. Underachievers are what Dolphin fans love.
14 attempts during an entire season had these losers screaming Pro Bowl player. |
