Katina wants to end marriage with Dolphins' Jason Taylor

I just hope this doesn't affect Taylor and Thomas. It sucks.

I feel it won`t,at least not professionally. Even though mighty Miami is destined to win the Super Bowl,events like this only serve to put things in their proper perspective. I wish Jason,his soon-to-be-ex wife, and their family well.

Why does she have to go and throw drama into our season. Just when it was looking so bright, now we have to wonder if Zach and Jason can play nice. Thanks Katina.

Yes, another greedy woman. She wants alimony, child support, and legal fees. What a setup. At this rate, marriages will be extinct in less than 100 years or the entire definition of marriage will be something completely different than what it used to be. We may still use the word "marriage" but we are quickly moving toward prostitutionalized lease agreements. Women are usually smarter than us though, as other than Britney Spears, you don't see too many women with money "marrying down" to get a guy. Guys like Jason Taylor have got to be smarter. Sure, her brother, Zach Thomas is a mult-millionaire, but Taylor doesn't get to use Zach's income in the divorce decree....and NO ONE stays married anymore so I don't see why these guys keep falling for it. You'd come out cheaper just paying for an expensive apartment for a woman and then just not paying the rent when either of you decide to end the relationship. Lastly, if athletes are pampered, what in the $#@! do the wives have to be so upset about?!! If I made 6 million dollars a year like Jason Taylor and my wife didn't work, when I come home she should be butt-naked with four of her friends!!

502What I meant to say was that if we considered the athletes themselves pampered, then we can multiply that "pampering" 100 times for an unemployed or "underemployed" wife who the government is allowing to be a marital prostitute so that they can capitalize on the divorce. Let's face it, if it was not profitable to divorce Katina Taylor wouldn't be doing it. This way, she gets all of the benefits of being married to a superstar athlete without any of the responsibilities. Yes, raising children is a huge responsibility but being subsidized with over 1/2 million dollars a year helps with that quite a bit. If she had to pay Jason half a million a year, I'm sure she'd be staying put. Maybe as a part of the divorce settlement, she should have to go on the field and try to making a few tackles. This is really sickening to me. How can anyone see these situations as anything other than prostitution?!!!

Are you kidding me..first of all Katina and Jason have 3 children and I don't think it is right of you to be calling either one of them whores. This is their person business and maybe they are just having some personal problems.(stay out of it and worry about Jason on the field not off)

I am a white girl and if Jason Taylor were poor I would still want him hes freakin gorgeous, and is very polite and down to earth when I met him and whenever he does an interview. He is educated and articulate. Color isnt an issue.

I'm actually not a Dolphin fan. And if you believe that Jason Taylor loves his wife so much he has never know the fruit of another woman, then she's officially the second dumbest person is the state of Florida for filing for this divorce.

Jason is the one bringing drama into the season. A few things to consider - Katina's parents are independently wealthy (completely outside of Zach's success.) She doesn't need his money.
Maybe she is naive, but maybe she thought she was actually getting a husband. He talks about the importance of religion and family in his life, lists the bible as his favorite book and at the time they met was best friends with her brother. I don't think it was unrealistic of her to think under those circumstances that he should and would be faithful to her.
Clearly he has not been. Even the local paper busted him by publishing a piece about him being out with his beautiful wife when in fact she was sitting home alone that night seven months pregnant.
And if it wasn't really bad do you really think she risk facing the ire of you superfans who don't think athletes should have to comply with common decency and respect for your wife or the backlash from her very Catholic parents who think divorce is not an option.
She even gave him a second chance to avoid all this drama you are saying she caused. She initially filed in January - one month after she gave birth to their daughter - and then dropped it. By refiling, it is clear that even after he was busted the first time, Jason didn't care enough about his family and did it again.
And Jason knowing brought the drama to the team. You think he forgot that he brother in law plays next to him and might not take kindly to him messing over his sister.
So if there is drama - put the blame where it lies.

So, was he cheating on her? I have never heard where he cheated, from what I understand they are still very good friends they just grew apart from each other. And yea, O.J. was aquitted but that doesn't mean he didn't do the crime.
