Are You Serious

Oh come the heck on! Are you serious??? Do these advocacy groups have nothing else to do but make mountains out of mole hills? The word is used to ridicule and harrass young and gay athletes. And what are you doing but harrassing Larry Johnson. Get a job! Get a mate of the oposite sex. Don't be mad that Larry don't want you!

We live, unfortunately, in a society where people are no longer judged by personal character, but by how much money they have. If that were not the case, the words "Larry Johnson" and "role model" would never appear in the same sentence. He needs to take his show on the road. Maybe Al Davis would welcome him!!

What happened to FREEDOM OF SPEECH ACT did we forget that? Just because he is an NFL member does he not have any rights or opinions????? People have too much time on their hads to meddle in others business. Leave him alone and with the Chiefs loosing season, I would be upset too. He has every right to voice his thoughts.

The Chiefs need to do what they should have done a long time ago and release this ignorant, selfish athlete who was born with a giant chip on his shoulder. My stance has little to do with any inflamatory comments he may or may not have made that upset the gay community, but more to do with the constant distraction and lack of values, ethics, morals and poor sportmanship this idiotic player has made these past few years. Dick Vermeil had this guy pegged years ago when he called Johnson out and told him to take his diapers off. Apparently Johnson is still wearing them.....my only question is whether he prefers to wear the disposable or cloth type brands. Go somewhere else Larry, this town has had enough of you!

I believe that he spoke out of frustration, I'm hecka frustrated with the way the team is playing and the play calling. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I was part of the team.

I don't care what he said or what he didn't say. I would like to see him gone for KC, only because he is not that good of player. It is sad that our QB has more running yards than LJ. That is what the Chiefs need to be looking at. As for the gay comments, I believe in freedom of speech. If it was someone off the streets and not an NFL athlete this would not be the big deal it is now.

Putting aside freedom of speach, LJ needs to man up, drag his sorry self to the chiefs front office and beg for forgiveness. Either you are part of the team or get out of town. Ignorance and is not an excuse for national disrespect of a superior. LJ can't eat the words once they exit his mouth, but coach Haley can let him know where those words should go. Al Davis may like this attitude, KC ticket holders DO NOT. Lets trade LJ, if we can find a team that wants him.

LJ upset again! The star of the team should be vocal on some issues. Oh yeah, he's not the star. That would be the punter. Johnson has a 2.7 yard average. In all rushing categories he only cracks the top ten in two. Fumbles (tied 10th) and fumbles lost (tied 9th). He gains more yardage going to the mail box to get his unearned check.

I am as tired of Johnson's bad manners as I am of all the judgmental talk in the media. Carl Peterson drained this team of ANY talent; and then, we expect Pioli and Haley to right the wrongs in 6-8 months! How absurd! Give them a chance. If we are in this position in two years, then we can ask for their heads on a silver platter. Concerning Johnson, for once I agree with Whitlock--keep him until the end of the season--it will deter the heat from Haley then send him to Al Davis!

because of his arrogance, attitude, and huge ego, LJ will never change. He thinks he is extremely important and KC is lucky to have him. He couldn't be more wrong. If I were Pioli or Haley, I wouldn't want anyone like this working for me. I say if we have to pay out his contract, bench him until it expires. Don't give him the option of moving to another team and getting double paychecks. Like many have said, IF anyone will take him.

This is a sad thing, he has had trouble with the last 2 of 3 of his coaches. Then he uses a slur against, homosexuals. He would not like someone using the "N" word. He is not a role model that our children need. This is not his first slip up.
