I say we give him all the dignity and chances he gave his dogs. Fair is fair. If he doesn't live up to the challenge, then we could stick a cattle prod up his rear and see how he fairs.

Who cares what Tony Dungy thinks? I have no respect for either of them. I agree with DeeSee whole heartedly. Give him the same chance he gave his dogs. Pete Rose was banned from baseball for life for gambling. Pete didn't hurt anyone, didn't electrocute any animals, and didn't kill for sport. Why would Vick be allowed a second chance that was denied to someone who dedicated his entire life to his sport? Shouldn't be allowed.

At $10.00 an hour working construction,He'll never have to repay the millions that he owes.He gets to beep the first $750,000 of his yearly salary.

If that sucka owed me big money I'd want him to be re-enstated but only till I and all the others get paid back.

Peanut Butter, that was awesomely said. I completely forgot about Pete Rose. I remember being upset that he was banned for life even though he did nothing more than most people do everyday. What a great baseball player he was. I remember as a little girl (I was a tomboy) trying to do the dive into a base. Keep MV out of pro sports. He did not in no way give the animals a sporting chance, he should get none.

Jesus! The guy lost HUNDREDS of millions of dollars from lost playing time, and endorsements, and future projects launched based off of his reputation. Even if given a 2nd chance to play, he will never make that kind of money again. Plus he spent time in prison. I like dogs and everything but this guy has paid enough. HUNDREDS of millions!!! Let him play football again.

Freemind, I would agree with you, however; this man was responsible for the murder and torture of hundreds of animals. If they were human how would you feel? A life is a life no matter what form it takes. In my opinion he should never have been allowed to see the light of day. Mike Tyson was in jail longer than this, and his crime awful as it was, was not near as horrific.

He was denied the Hall of Fame, too. There will never be another Charlie Hustle. If he was banned for life for gambling, Vick should be banned as well.

Not a big stretch to imagine that you just changed your user name to post another immature and meaningless comment. If you could read, you would see that I have not written anything about fear of Mr. Vick. Rather, I made an intelligent comparison about another professional player in different sport (baseball, in case you're ignorant too) and his crime/punishment. Perhaps someone could read it to you.

reminds me of the Tyson/Holyfield fight ... I always felt Tyson should never be able to fight in USA again ... IDK if he has or not but I got a problem with that ... off topic but I'm a dog lover and I hate puppy mills and breeding for a certain breed and/or for profit ... so I'd better stop right there before I tell you what I really think ...

It must be tough for Vick supporters trying to find a way to make animal cruelty more palatable to those of us with strong (or any, even) moral consciences. Especially when you're a half-wit.
