My QB rating was so high tonight, thanks to Chilly and his conservative play calling against this pathetic Texans team. He is helping me not lead this team to a Super Bowl.

Grandpa? Washed up? Man, what a brilliant post. You have a PhD or an MD, right? Harvard or Yale? I can tell by your pragmatic, intellectually poised commentary. Look, there is a difference between a fan with a brain who hates Favre yet respects him - even at 39, the guy is still way better than 80% of the qbs in the NFL - and an imbecile. Guess which one you are...

And why is it that all these Packer fans keep poluting our Viking's blog???
Could it be because they can't resist because we have their old QB? Jealousy maybe?

You got that right, Purpleman! Favre was just great tonight, and he's only going to get better. This is going to be an exciting season!

Blah, blah, blah. He's gonna fall down after the first play tonight (if he starts at all) and everyone will hear, "Coach, I've fallen and I can't get up."
Posting the same joke from 1988 on every thread you visit?

You sure a great football mind....questioning the toughness of a player that has started 291 consecutive regular season and playoff games.

Yes they should've opened up the playbook and let Cleveland know exactly what Harvin's role is...where Favre will lineup...throw in a flea flicker. I mean, c'mon, it's the third preseason game...it's a must win!

And just another desparate self proclaimed super bowl champ queen team.
You sound like an Air Farce weenie. I'd proclaim you one, but that would be an insult to the junior service of this great country. How about max thrusting yourself out of the universe, because that's where your thought process takes you. dude.

Hey, is the King's Knight still there? Spent some time disco dancing and enjoying the twilight of the '70s. You're right on with your synopsis of Favre. It will get better, if he doesn't do something stupid, like crackback block a safety. Some 40-year-olds haven't turned 40 yet, and thank the HOFer gods for that. For the first time in 40 years, I'm ready for A LOT of football.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
