I'm sure things will slow down in training camp and then slow down some more during preseason and then slow down a bit more during the regular season. That's how it (doesn't) work in the NFL.
I feel bad for Rex but it doesn't sound like he'll get anything more that some training camp meals from the Texans. He never really did win any competitions

You heard it hear first:
Dan Orlovsky is going to be a starting qb in the NFL.
Forget that stepping out of the endzone thing. He had some good moments in Detroit.
Grossman.....what did he ever prove.
At his best.....he was competent.
At his worst, he was pathetic.
Except for Sept 2006, he never was Pro bowl material. Forget the arm. Forget the gun slinger.
In 7 years, he's thrown 3 or more tds in a game twice.
Its quite possible that his injuries hurt him. And the fan base in Chicago didn't help. But he was nothing more than an average qb who never lived up to his billing.
Rex will be cut from Houston unless the other 2 qbs there get hurt.

A shame we don't play Houston this season, would love to see Wrecks make the Texans roster then see Urlacher and Briggs drive him into the turf.

Why always discuss his record as a starter and not his other stats which clearly sucked?

There was a time, somewhat like now,(before even seeing Cutler throw a ball in the Navy Blue), that I thought Chicago, had a franchise QB.

Rex zipped a ball to one of the TEs for a TD and it was solid. Dunno what game, who, what, where. Yet, things began to unravel.

Did Grossman lose the Super Bowl or did the defense choke?? Rex may not have been the root of that failure but he certainly was not of any help. Face it, the Bears D has been so overrated and continues to be so and that is where this season rests on.

Forget about #6, the Bears Achilles Heel is their D and nothing makes me comfortable in their ability to be dominant this year given their failures last year and lack of acquisitions this year.

Finally,#54 maybe done, put a blocker on him and he does nothing. He was a safety at NM if y'all remember and his popularity, seems to be based, more on his skin color than abilities. Saying that, he is one of ours and I wish him a great seaon, yet, who is in the succession plan???

The D is The Key!

Good luck, Rex. I hope you do well! You really didn't deserve all the crap you were given while in Chicago!
