G Force is a movie about gophers and this is the slogan for your team? And you wonder why the name of Green Bay Packer is a laughing stock for the NFL world! It's marketing slogan? Apparently you know nothing about G Force. I don't know much about G Force, but I do know it's not a slogan, it's a fan group. I believe the movie stole it's name from the fan group. BTW trash talking is one of the primary reasons to post herein. Where have you been? Also, the laughing stocks of the NFL are those teams have never won a Super Bowl. Ha Ha!

Give Puker fans a break. If they get any more depressed they won't move out from under the overpasses into the palaces I can sell them. I need a bailout and Puker fans need some cash for the at clunker of a game in Tampax Bay

GBP Fan,
I was at game when Vikings played there a few weeks ago. There was a PA announcement for our slogan. It is G Force. A movie about Gophers.
As for Superbowl won. Congrats you had a great season 10 years ago and won a Superbowl. As a Viking fan I was quite jealous as my team has never won one.
Vikings have played in four Super bowls andw on zero. Ye sthat is true. Packers have played in two Superbowls and won one. So what is your point?

The group came first, the movie later. Your facts are wrong, as is often the case with Viking fans: The Packers have been the best football team in the world a record twelve times. The have been the NFL Champions a record twelve times. The Packers won the first two Super Bowls. The first 4 were also called World Championship games because they were played between the NFL and AFL Champions. After that the AFL merged with the NFL and ceased to exist. The Super Bowl is merely another name for the NFL Championship game now and has been since Super Bowl V through the present. The Packers also played in Super Bowl XXXI and XXXII, winning the first. Thus, the Packers have played in 4 Super Bowls and won 3. My point was that the Vikings don't have the proud and glorious history of the Packers. You may have noticed how much your average Viking fan despises the mention of NFL history. To Viking fans the past is filled with failure, humiliation and embarrassment. That is why your average Viking fan envies and hates Packer fans so much. It is also why you and many other Viking fans know so little about NFL titles.

GBP Fan,
My facts are not incorrect. I was pointing out Super Bowls amongst our teams. Since the Packers have been around since early 1900's it only makes sense that Packers have more World Championships. Like I said in a previous post congrads and I am a jealous Viking fan as my team has never won a Superbowl.
As for your comment on Superbowls once again the Packer Nation makes up their own facts. Super Bowl I and II were never played. Yes they were named Superbowl righ tin time for III to be played. However please take a look at your trophy case, there is no trophy for Superbowl I and II.
I may not be up on Packer history but I am up on NFL post merger history. I do not any records before 1960's should be counted.
But keep up with the posts about the Vikings you only prove why the Packer fans is much heckled and much looked down upon.
Let's face it. The Viking organiztion is a much classier organization. And to prove my point let's look at player movements between teams. We havetwo high impact players which are ex Packers. Do the Packers hav eany ex Vikings.
Looks to me as if the players even know the more classy organization.
Also can you name the one team that has drafted a serial killer? What team leads the NFL in felonies involving under females?
Yea great team to be proud of?

Records and Championships prior to the Vikings existence shouldn't count? If that isn't jealousy and envy, what is? Obviously, pointing out the Vikings failures struck a nerve. Thank you, you made my day! BTW the NFL recognizes it's entire history, not just 1960 to the present. What would be so special about 1960? You're very funny. Let's use your 1960 date. The Packer's also won the NFL Championships in 1961, 1962 and 1965 seasons. That reminds me, when you add the first two Super Bowl wins. the Packers were the best football team in the world five times during the sixties. They are the only team in history with five in a decade. What are the Viking records? Oh yeah, most failed attempts.

Yep, it takes ten fans, one to change the bulb and nine to talk about how good the old one used to be.

I've often wondered, how do the Viking fans get through the lean years? As I said, it's no wonder that Viking fans despise the past so much. It also provides some measure of comfort that Viking fans envy the Packer's past success. All a Packer fan has to do is mention Packer success and Viking fans like you go into a jealous frenzy. Thanks, it helps a little.

Would it be classy if we pretended that the past doesn't matter. Packer fans have a proud history. Viking fans don't come across as classy by being openly envious. Remember the lesson to be learned from Aesop's fable "The Fox and the Grapes." Trust me, winning Championships does not have a sour taste. The taste is actually quite sweet. Nobody buys the "sour grapes" routine. If and when the Vikings ever are the best football team in the world, you will look at history differently, I guarantee it! The moment after winning a Championship, it is part of history. That is one of the great things about being the best.

Hey GBPfan,
I googled NFL championships. I came up with a lists of all teams and Championships.
Guess what? My team is recognized for having a championship! But see I believe a Superbowl is my criteria and my team has not won a Superbowl.
I guess Viking fans just have higher standards than Packer fans.
And yes you are correct Green Bay does have twelve.
But showing no class because one shows as being openly envious. Every team wants to win a Superbowl every year.
Please stop drinking the green and gold kool aid. By the way were you the guy at recent Vikings v Packers game I asked this same question?

By the way were you the guy at recent Vikings v Packers game I asked this same question? Again, another Viking fan ignorant of NFL Championships versus Super Bowls. The Super Bowl winner is the NFL Champion and has been nearly every year. The Super Bowl currently is the NFL Championship game and has been from Super Bowl V (since after the AFL merged with the NFL) to the present. The first 4 Super Bowls were played between the NFL Champion and the AFL Champion. ONLY back then was it possible for the NFL Champion to not be the Super Bowl winner, because back then they were seperate games. The Packers won the NFL Championships in the seasons preceeding the first two Super Bowls and then won the Super Bowls also, thus becoming World Champions. The season the Vikings won the NFL Championship they lost Super Bowl IV against the Chiefs, thus K.C. was the World Champions. My standard is being the best team in the world. The Packers have been the best football team in the world a record twelve times.(Each year that the Packers were the best team in the world they also were NFL Champs) The Vikings have never been the world's best team, even though they were NFL Champs once, because they lost one of the 4 Super Bowls that wasn't also the NFL Championship game. The Vikings don't have higher standards, they are simply ignorant about NFL Championships as you have nicely displayed. When you say that every team wants to win the Super Bowl it is the same as saying every team wants to win the NFL Championship game because they are one in the same.
