Hmmm. I wonder how those Viking fans are feeling about their team now? Optomistic? Their two best players are coming of a major injury and want to be traded. Perhaps 3-13 will not seem so bad after this season.

This one will hurt if he leaves.
How bout trading James Jones for him? Kidding of course but imagine
Percy Harvin,Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson!
Randall Cobb is a 4,DonaldDriver is a 5,
Damn that would be some serious WR depth right there

In seriousness,,,How do you get value for a guy who everyone knows doesnt want to be there?
or
If Percy was angleing for a new contract, how do you sign him when he demands to be traded before he demands more cash?
at least Lance Briggs in Chicago wanted a bigger deal, didnt get it,screamed he didnt want to play for Chicago, then got his new deal..
Sounds like Percy just said he wasnt happy with or in Minn.and demands a trade.
ON second thought, offer them James Jones and a mid round pick and see if Minn would bite.

Interesting idea Eric... but I think he wants to be the #1 guy. As a Packer, he'd be one of the crowd. There's just too much talent in the Packers' WR corps for him to be the star he wants to be.

The trade would make more sense for the Vikings though... James Jones would step in as the #1 guy there, I would think. Big and reliable. That's the kind of WR they need.

I like your trade idea, but I don't think that Harvin would be that much happier as a Packer.

A SB championship would put a smile on Harvins face for sure AND having Rodgers as his qb isnt a bad selling point either.
You are right Minn signed Jones to an offer sheet which GB matched,so Minn likes the kid and that may be the b est offer they get for Harvin.Plus Jones isnt exactly floored about being the 5th WR in GB either i dont think.
A trade within the division is hardly ever done, but, just an idea.
Can you picture Minn trading a pissed off Harvin to a division rival? SO,it will never happen but it would be nice for both sides i believe.
