3 To my way of thinking...Brett Farve is such a pro. Who else that anyone can think of-put on that much of a "Game Face" then delivered...the guy is BAD ASS! Oh yeah the rest of the team is pretty F*****in good too. |

Is it just me, or are ticket prices too expensive? I'd like to know which crap seats they are talking about starting at $48... i paid close to $90 apeice for 2nd level, row 6 on the corner of the north end zone for the Bears game. Plus i have to drive 4 hours from Des Moines. I love going up to the dome for games, but they seriously need to make it more affordable for fans who travel.

1 YOU KNOW THAT LOSS TO PITTSBURGH MAY HAVE BEEN A blessing in disguise. To me it looked as if we came out apprehensive and unsure of ourselves, going three and out 3 or 4 straight times. But as the game went on it seemed we gained confidence and maybe proved to themselves that they can go deep into the post-season, the confidence we gained in that game could prove to be invaluable. |

2 Yeah, that loss-did not feel too badly about it, as the Vikes didn't fold up the tents in the face of strong competition, but instead fought back valiantly, thus proving that they can beat a superbowl team. Also, they were not helped at all by the refs, but that's a whole other can of worms... |

1 It's amazing what a difference a great QB can make for a team. |
||||
Yes, only if your looking ahead for a higher draft pick!! |
||||
I so agree 100% T-Jack shouldnt even be on the sidelines if you asked me! The thing about Favre is he gets everyone on the team involved he doesnt just go to 1 person he is throwing the ball alot better than anticipated (his interceptions) have been high and he is more controlled which shows you the offense this team had before Favre stepped on the field in purple! We just needed that quality QB and we have a great looking team! I think we need to just focus on our 3rd and 4th quarters and we seem to get out of steam and we will be a GREAT contenders for the extended season ( not going to say how far dont want to jinx it!):) SKOL VIKES!!!!!! |

It's simple economics. If enough people pay the asking price to sell out the games, then you have your answer. If games stop selling out in increasing numbers, they'll lower the price. If anyone anywhere is willing to pay more money than you are, that's the free market at work. |

The thing about AP's yards is funny, though. Rookie year -- 1300+ yards Last year -- 1700+ yards, league MVP and rushing title This year -- on pace for 1500 yards, while sharing the load on an improved offense So he's only on pace to fall behind lasat year's total by 200 yards spread over 16 games, about 15 yards less per game, in exchange for improved play at QB, and the resulting improved production in all the receivers. Considering all that, I'm actually impressed AP's got as many yards as he does! And don't forget the line -- the two new starters struggled early, but have improved steadily all year. Now, you hardly ever hear Sullivan or Loadholt get called. My guess is the running numbers will pick up as these guys settle in more. No complaints here. |

I use to call the vikings queens the past few seasons and up an tell now thats how i felt and i live in minnesota its just they always seem to find a way to disappoint ;( im hoping this season dont bring back history repeat of 1999 playoffs when we lost to atlanta in the championship that was suppose to be our year we went 15-1 and i think given a look at our remaining scheduel we are on track to do that again we should not have lost to pitts that was a win in my eyes they played their hearts out just too many mistakes if we meet again we will kill em my look into the future is vikes will face saints in nfc championship reason being other than us the only other dominant team in the nfc is new orleans who really scare me they will be tough should we face em but if we can play without all sorts of mistakes we have a shot to beat them. I just hope they dont let all of us down again they are playing really well they just need to fix mistakes they continue to make such as tackling that has to get better and miscues and such aside from that we have a good team and my confidence is building in them. good luck vikes lets go!

True, true. But I still can't get over the Ellen Degeneres lookalike thing! During last weeks game it was really creepin me out! Let's pick up Johhny Jolly instead. He has an amusing name, and is such a good sport. |
