You can't blame the defense for anything. They played as well as they could. However, in each of the two losses I noticed that the defense that was present during the 6 game winning streak is still in the bye week. There were shades of good defense and that's when each of the two games we lost were close, but as soon as the pass rush, stunts, blitz stopped Baltimore and Pittsburghs quarterbacks both got comfortable and as football fans we know that if a quarter back gets comfortable things happen. The offense didn't help either. The first drive, which resulted in a field goal was impressive. But after the holding penalty on 4th & 5, that's ultimately when the momentum changed from Denver to Pittsburgh. The Denver offense has to be able to move the ball and give the defense a rest. A defense without rest is like an offense running the no huddle...continuous game play. Get the schemes and packages in order, stick to a game plan, do your job, and wins will happen.

It seems just yesterday when Chicago Bears put in Kyle Orton in as back up for the injurded quaterback Grossmen and he carried the bears through an exciting year till grossmen came back. But evertime they would bring Orton back it was like magic, just leave him in don't pull him out was my mottal. So insted of macking him the querterback for this year they ship him out for some insane reason. "But", they payed the new quaterback sweet money and gave him a good deal insted of Picking up some recivers. If this was dum, dum and dummer at work i sure know the brains were not working. So I think Denver got the better deal and i beleave come the end of this season When the dust settals the Denver Broncos will be one of the top teams. Orton will turn around the Broncos and with a little hard work from his team members they will stay on top.
