Green Bay Packers: Haters Gonna Hate, Playas Gonna Play

Full story: Bleacher Report

It's nice to see that even though Brett Favre and the Vikings have the week off, the "holier than thou" Favre bashers do not.

I agree with this article. The Favre haters are failing to focus on the real issues. The Packers have problems that will not be solved by bashing a former Packer player.

The anger and frustration that Packer fans are feeling should be directed where it might do some good. The Packers need change, and the change needs to happen at the top.

I just don't feel I can agree with you GBPfan.
I really like both your General manager and coach.
I'm hoping they stay for a LONG time.

Ted Thompson - please draft no offensive linemen nor make any trades for o linemen during the off season. Please give Daryn Colledge and Allen Barbre extensions.

Sincerely,
Your biggest fan

lol.
As you know, the Vikes have suffered with inept coaching for the last couple of years and crushing defeats by the Packers.
So I know how you Pack fans are feeling.

What a turn around!

They also say: What goes around, comes around. Unfortunately, they don't say how quickly. I lived through the seventies and eighties, so I'm a little concerned.

Enjoy being on top while it lasts.

You're talking to Viking fan who has lived and died with this team since 1961.
So, thank you very much, I WILL enjoy this while it lasts.

You got to admit, this Viking team has as much talent and chances to go to and win a SB as any of the other 31 teams this year.

Right now, that's true. All any fan wants is to have hope. The greater the hope and the longer you can hold on, the better. If I was a Viking fan, I'de be feeling pretty good. My friends that are Viking fans seem happy. Perhaps a little too happy at times, but I understand.

Enjoy it. The Vikings are a tough team this year and (though it pains me to admit it as a Packer fan) they control their own destiny. They've done what they needed to do to build their team, and if they continue to do everything right, they may just get that trophy this year. I don't begrudge the Vikings their success... do I want them to win the Super Bowl? As a Packer fan and rival, of course I don't. However, if they do, it's because they will have earned it.

Our Packers, on the other hand... they've got issues from the top on down. I'm hopeful that they do what they need to to get back on track... probably not this year since they've committed to the current management, but for next year and beyond.

See, that wasn't so hard.
