Muslim doctors promote harmony with free clinic

Full story: news.cincinnati.com

Robert Bowling has diabetes, high blood pressure and gout, and has been unable to work since 2002. At Thanksgiving 2009, when he had to be rushed to the emergency room at Mercy Hospital Anderson, a nurse referred him to a free clinic that had just opened in the adjacent medical office building.

The doctors wanted to serve the larger community and, in Sultan’s words, satisfy the fourth pillar of Islam – zakat, giving to and serving the poor.

“Everyone believes in heaven and hell,” Sultan said.“If you do good deeds you grow closer to God. You move forward.”

The doctors wanted, too, to do their part to chip away at negative stereotypes of Islam in America.

So how exactly does waging jihad grow one closer to God?

By defending those that are not able to defend themselves...By sacrificing your today for someone else's tomorrow...

I don't know why Muslims even bother trying to argue or explain something to Islamophobes...The Quran has never been wrong...It has already stated that no matter what a Muslim may do or say, those that have hatred in their hearts will never be satisfied with Muslims as long Muslims associate themselves with Islam...

Dealing with you Islamophobes has truly made me admire how much in depth psychology the Quran contains about the human nature...

Even good works by Muslims will now be taken as Jihad 2.0 or stealth Jihad...

Islamophobe's hearts have really become like the Nazis...No matter what, Jews are always at fault...Only now those Nazis come in the form of Islamophobes who repeat exactly against the Muslims what the Nazis used against the Jews...

There is one difference: Muslims will not so easily go walking to the gas chambers...They will make sure they take a few Nazis/Islamophobes with them...

They say by blowing oneself up in a school for example.

Or in a crowded marketplace.

Go figure.

That's simply PREPOSTEROUS !!!

And a strong indication -a proof rather- that the guy is either a complete idiot or a deceiver.

Does that mean they'll be performing "Female Genital Mutilation" for free?

Just asking.

Obviously Sultan never heard of Atheism.

But that aside, congratulations. Your dedication to bring 'Islam Positive' news is to be admired.

Agreed, it's difficult if not downright impossible to make a retard such as yourself see reason.

But i'll give it a try!

Read and try to comprehend (in as much as comprehention of anything can be expected of you):

The good doctor doesn't know that zakat can only be spent on muslims and for jihad.

albeit, I applaud the non-islamic (and hence humane) initiative of these doctors

Obviously you didn't bother to read msdefendislam's post.

But I would guess that giving a knowledgeable response is against your ethics.

Then they should do something about the thousands of Muslims who kill, burn, riot, terrorize, etc in the name of Islam.

Too many muslims are theocrats. Also, at least one of these clinics was closed because its members were supporting terror orgs. Hamas I suppose. That is from a poster on another site.

I simply don't trust these people.

I won't be surprised if the non-muslim patients have to promise to read the quran while stuck on the patient's bed before they get the treatment.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
