This is a perfect example of the inadequacies of the legal system. What if you or I(regular citizens) did the same crime???We would have been incarcerated and processed already. Just because he makes a large salary, and is a freakin football player, he will be forgiven. Way to go OJ, and now Lynch! Your above the law! I think an example needs to be set here. Lets not send out a message to the general public that if you are drinking, and committ a crime, whether its a vehicular accident, injuring a pedestrian, or killing someone. RUN and deal with it later. The scumbag attorneys will cover your @$$.

SHAME ON HIM AND SHAME ON THE BILLS ORGANIZATION. THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE HIM SIT OUT PRACTICE AND NOT PAID HIM UNTIL HE SAT AND GAVE ALL DETAILS. THAT WHOLE ORGANIZTION IS A ROLL MODEL FOR OUR YOUTH AND THEY PUT LAWYERS IN FRONT OF HIM TO PROTECT HIM. THEY SHOULD SEND HIM UP A FLAG POLE AND MAKE A SPECATACLE OF HIM.

I hope he gets booed everytime he touches the ball this season; kind of like Danny Briere when he came back this past December. The only difference in these situations is that Danny was good for the community - Marshawn is an idiot.

I love the Buffalo Bills Football team - as a whole. But when we do something wrong, like leaving the scene of an accident, we must own up to it - no matter who we are. No one is immune from facing the cinsequences. This Lynch should come forward, make a statement tell the police what he did, or if someone else was honestly driving the police should be told that too.
I think it was Lynch driving, that is why he won't come forward - shame on you. Be a man, admit what you did and take the medicine. Why you would leave that poor girl is beyond me. We all must answer for what we have done wrong - even members of the National Football League.

I'm glad we are close to a resolution. Give him his day to prove his innocence or take responsibilty for his guilt. I can't believe the arrogance of this guy and his attorney. Since when does the justice system revolve around these guys? Oh, sorry, I forgot--he is a Buffalo Bill.

This is Frank Clark's kiss off to all in Erie County! He is givng special treatment to Lynch to show everyone that he (Clark) was always the BOSS! I have never heard of using the grand jury to investigate a traffic misdemeanor...they use it for felonies only, but it can be used for other charges, but is not! This case should have been charged and sent to city court for their typical disposition and then sued civilly! Why did Clark not charge Lynch with the evidence he had(enough) and send this case to the courts for.... the who did what, when and where...done every day, all day by Clark's staff... forever! Clark is impressing someone..maybe the Bills are going to hire him as their legal beagle!

What is happening here certainly make you realize that if you drink, drive and hit someone your best bet is to leave the injured person, hurry home and sober up. Having a sleazy, high paid lawyer also helps. He will never be charged now with drunk driving.Enough in Lancaster doesn't realize that.

I sue him for $5,000,000.00 for more what he did for not being a MAN to say that he did and fix it, should throw his butt in jail just when NFL plays that only these NFL players will learn.

Of course it will be handled soon. Lynch's people will pay off who needs to be paid off. And this will all go away.

Having recently moved up here and debating on the whole Bills fan thing.....I'm definately not a Bills fan now. He should not be practicing or playing as uncooperative as he's been, and shows no signs of cooperating in the near future. Arrogance is just the tip of this iceberg....Hmmm, got something to hide LYNCH? Not a worthy role model at all! And if by mere chance it's all been the lawyers doing, stand up for yourself and be a man and say what happened. This is all just making YOU look bad, not your lawyers.

He is not scared to be questioned. He has NO OBLIGATION to answer questions from the police. In America, if a police officer askes you questions, YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED to answer them.

It's a joke how people in the public eye like this can get away with something so serious...I cannot understand how he hasnt had his ass sat down and questioned already...any other private citizen would have gotten charged already..pathetic how professional athletes and celebrities seem to think they are above the law. The only reason I think he may have not answered anything or told his side is probably because he left the scene because he was trashed and then it would be an even more serious offense...what a pathetic loser he is and so is the Bills organization for hiding behind their legal team...

Hey WIVB - Lynch obviously is someone pretty important. He is getting abused by the readers. Isn't it time for you to remove him from the forum!

Is the D.A. afraid to lose his free tickets to the Bills games? If an ordinary person was the hit and run driver he would have been dragged before a judge two weeks ago. Also this is not a misdemeanor case. Lynch should be charged with a felony, his conduct was egregious. Corruption and favoritism in our system abounds.
