Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson trying to block Rush Limbaugh's bid ...

Does anyone care? Does anyone care what Al Sharpton thinks... about anything?

I'm surprised Al still has a nose left since he's constantly sticking it where it doesn't belong.

A guy who convinced a girl to smear crap all over herself then lie about being raped, incited a mob to burn down a store where people died, because he hates Jews and the other a baby daddy shakedown artist, who also happens to hate Jews, yup, these guys are the spiritual leadership of their community. Don't kid yourselves, these phony pieces of crap carry enormous clout within their community. A lot more than Obama did when he started out; Obama had to move to the hood and parrot back his hate whitey stuff to his handlers to get street cred.

Letting Rush buy an NFL team would be like letting Mel Gibson buy a soccer team......in Israel.

Perhaps Rush should focus on buying an NHL team or a rugby team.

How was my statement racist? I didn't express any racial animosity. I was merely suggesting that in light of Limbaugh's hostility toward Black athletes (e.g., Donovan McNabb), owning a team that reflects his own demographic background might be a better fit.

What do the illegal wrongdoings of pro athletes have to do with this story? BTW, I hope that you are including the use of illegal steroids (a la Mark McGwire) when you think of pro athletes behaving badly.

First off, let me say that while Limbaugh may have some valid points from time to time, as a person I find him to be a self serving pompous a%s. I don't now if he's 'racist' or not because I don't watch/listen to shows of that nature. But I DO know that Sharpton for sure and Jackson to some extent, ARE racist. It just seemed suggestive that you only mentioned Rush and then two sports of predominately white players.
The criminal aspect was initially about guns, assualt,rape, things of that nature. I'll leave weed out of it. That would make me a hypocrite. You did bring up an interesting question.

I used McGwire's name because he is the most prominent example; his Hall of Fame aspirations are all but gone due to the steroid / andro scandal. If I'm not mistaken, Bonds has never been linked to steroids (despite the BALCO rumors).

Limbaugh expressed that it was his opinion that McNabb was overrated by the media. How is that "hostility toward black athletes"? Limbaugh has not made any racist statements. The producer of his radio show is black. If Limbaugh was a racist, why would he hire a black man? You don't know what you're talking about.
