Ozzie has done another awful job managing the cap. Suggs needs to be re-signed. There are plenty of old, over-priced malcontents on this team that can and should be dumped, not have their deals restructured.

The best way to lose your best player is to Franchise him.
Watch how fast Lance Briggs
gets out of Chicago after
they franchised him last year.

Plus he can really use a crowbar on people if his pass rush slows. It seems no Balto team wants to start anew and build with fresh talent. The Dolphins aren't fooling around, releasing 9 players yesterday with more to come. The Marlins have rebuilt twice in the last decade and won 2 world series. Are you listening Angelos and Bisciotti.

the days of loyalty. When a player would take a little less money to stay with their team. Today's players are too greedy. As much as I like Suggs, I get tired of athletes holding out to get another million.
This is the best post so far. Hard to argue this point. Oh how I yearn for the Brooks', Cal's and Johnny U's of the past. Now THAT was loyalty.

Obama against non blacks wrote:
The change movement Obama is touting does not include whites, Hispanics, Asians or any NON-BLACK voter, with all the problems our great country is in because of the in-experience of Bush/Chaney we most certainly DO NOT need a racist movement in the white house to over shadow what MUST be done to save this country. People supporting Obama do not know anything about him or his severe lack of good political judgment or even doing the job he was elected to. They have fallen for the MEDIA FAIRY TALE! If Osama get the dem nom, Clinton supporters will not vote for him, especially because of the biased media. Non-black voters will stay home or support the republican before they hand over this great country to someone who cant lead his own campaign and touts racism as his platform. Obama is very wrong to say publically that Clinton’s supporters will throw their support behind him. He too has fallen in the republican media trap. They know in a general election there is so much that they will rip him a part. Is why they are scared to up against Clinton. She has been disgustingly attacks for a white woman, if the things that were said about her were said about any BLACK person male or female the country would be in an uproar! Theres nothing they can get on her except she has done an exceptional job as two term first lady and Senator! Clinton is the only candidate that can save our country. DO NOT SELL OUT FOR THE MEDIA... VOTE FOR CLINTON
The question is not who will be presidential coordinator, the question is how we will sign Terrell Suggs. He plays on the team most of us post about. Ms Clinton and Mr Obama aren't even in the equation at OLB at this time ! And please, dont bring up Mr McCain, not even as a Tom Coughlin double.

On a brighter note,we've franchised McAllister and he didnt get to leave. Noone in their right mind wanted to give him a fat contract back then! We've rarely done it, anyway. But WHEN we have its been for the best of the team's performance AND its cap. Quite a bit to get under one hat. Not everybody is an Adalius Thomas or Bart Scott, meaning, taking less to stay.(Save the Pats deal, of course...) Back then they sold us the 'Adalius money is Suggs money' line - well, lets spend it !

If T.Sizzel dosen't want to be here...Put the "TAG" on him...then trade him to the Cards for one of those great recievers they have...and maybe a 4th rounder in 2009 draft.
I like that idea also ! But which one do you prefer ? But with the tag placed, I would take a first and WR instead. The Cards have a good cap situation.

Boldin all the way!! I have never seen a WR breaks tackles more than RBs and that's what A.B. is good at.
I love T-Sizzle, but he needs to become a LB more than a DE. With his skills and Speed, I'm sure he'll get more sacks if he lines up as a LB.

Suggs,Barnes,Jones and a healthy Price will be just as effective as a Gholston or a Campbell,If he had left the whole thing falls apart. Now add Either Jenkins or Mckelvin with Terrel Thomas or Cason, Talib or Smith or Porter and you've got your superbowl D.....all the experience in the world wont help you if you cant run stride for stride with these very fast receivers....the shelf life of Mcalister and Rolle has expired ...no other corner on this team is a viable option.

"Cut him and go with a youth movement....."

Compared to most starters on the Ravens defense, T. Suggs is part of the youth movement. He's only 25 with a hell of a resume.

"The best way to lose your best player is to Franchise him."

The Ravens has a good history of signing a player to a long-term contract after using the franchise tag. I'm confident that the Ravens will make it work for Suggs.

"It seems no Balto team wants to start anew and build with fresh talent."

I expect the Ravens will have a rebuilding type year in '09 once several veterans retire and/or cut.

Seriously my man,I do believe the Orioles were mentioned.I grew up with the world champion orioles and colts. When there was a problem on the team,it was dealt with or disposed of,not babied as in todays world. So,if the teams need to be blown up,to go in another direction with a new attitude and TEAMWORK-what's the problem ? At least, the fans would identify with players that are hungry and want to win.

Suggs definitely has a future - sign him up for at least four years. As far as Clinton and Obama: neither of them are worth a four year commitment.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aries

Take care today Aries, because the emotional landscape in your neighborhood will be full of pitfalls during the coming fortnight, as it has been since the Solar Eclipse on May 20. The more convinced you are that you're right, the harder it will be to navigate your way around forthcoming events. If you feel resentful of someone, perhaps a neighbor or sibling, you need to get your feelings out in the open, rather than burying them deeper, where they'll fester and lead to more problems in the long run.
