Forget that franchise tag, Suggs is a tough player who has never missed a start. He has turned out to be a MUCH better pic than Boller was in that draft. When Suggs came out of college, he was straight pass rush.....his game has expanded is a huge way and he actually plays the run VERY well now.

Quit bullsh*tin and sign this guy Oz.

QUOTE :'Suggs' toughness is one of the most underrated parts of his game.'

After putting both Heap's injuries AND the public's perception in a needed article, it would be nice to know exactly what injuries Suggs played through. Sometimes I wonder whether such info is being withheld intentionally.
Suggs at some point earlier in his career thought himself on the verge of being a 'bust.' He should be retained, no and, ifs or buts. No one's gonna give up two 1st rounders, I dont think.

The change movement Obama is touting does not include whites, Hispanics, Asians or any NON-BLACK voter, with all the problems our great country is in because of the in-experience of Bush/Chaney we most certainly DO NOT need a racist movement in the white house to over shadow what MUST be done to save this country. People supporting Obama do not know anything about him or his severe lack of good political judgment or even doing the job he was elected to. They have fallen for the MEDIA FAIRY TALE! If Osama get the dem nom, Clinton supporters will not vote for him, especially because of the biased media. Non-black voters will stay home or support the republican before they hand over this great country to someone who cant lead his own campaign and touts racism as his platform. Obama is very wrong to say publically that Clinton’s supporters will throw their support behind him. He too has fallen in the republican media trap. They know in a general election there is so much that they will rip him a part. Is why they are scared to up against Clinton. She has been disgustingly attacks for a white woman, if the things that were said about her were said about any BLACK person male or female the country would be in an uproar! Theres nothing they can get on her except she has done an exceptional job as two term first lady and Senator! Clinton is the only candidate that can save our country. DO NOT SELL OUT FOR THE MEDIA... VOTE FOR CLINTON

Obama don't care about nonwhites. You are extremely ignorant. Have you seen the polls in Idaho, Iowa, Utah...??? That is why he is popular to the highly educated voter, a demographic you clearly don't fall in. And what the heck does this have to do with the article???

Suggs may be tough, and may work hard to improve himself, but FIVE SACKS?? Come on ---- by NO means is he in the same class with Dwight Freeney, or Umenyiora, or Merriman! Don't screw up the team cap numbers by signing him for too much, Ozzie!!

If T.Sizzel dosen't want to be here...Put the "TAG" on him...then trade him to the Cards for one of those great recievers they have...and maybe a 4th rounder in 2009 draft.

I did not know Obama or Clinton played football. I would either cut or trade them both as well as any other politician on the team. Tag Suggs and keep him with the Ravens if a deal can't be reached. Could ozzie be using the tag as a way to get Suggs to sign? Maybe a little threat and pressure is all it will take.

Suggs definitely has a future - sign him up for at least four years. As far as Clinton and Obama: neither of them are worth a four year commitment.

suggs is a good/great player, and being only 25 they should lock him up for a few years. also we have put together a great coaching staff which should help determine just how good or bad some of our players are (see Boller, Clayton, Musa Smith). I also like Troy Smith (maybe I just miss Trent Dilfer) though he has yet to prove much. Ditch McDone, give Cam some time with Boller and Smith to see if there's any hope at QB.

I like that idea also ! But which one do you prefer ? But with the tag placed, I would take a first and WR instead. The Cards have a good cap situation.

The comparison with Boller is because they came from the same draft and same round, dumbass.

Well you are just a nice guy. I think guy but by your comment you sound like a little girl. Quite the pleasure you are. You and Scuggs are similar - big mouth little action. I wouldn't compare any top NFL player to Boller no matter what round or what draft. Nothing against Boller. It wasn't his fault the Ravens made the huge mistake of taking a less than 50% passer and no bowl experience in college in the 1st round. Grow up little man. Learn to show some respect for you fellow man. Than and only than you will earn some self respect which by you comment you are fully lacking. Good luck.

Cap cuts may help in all areas. Like the waiting to see who else is available during free agency, tagging Suggs to move him for value, cut McNair and ask Ogden to retire early.
evaluate the roster and purge early. I would use the tapes from the last 2 seasons to determine the viability of keeping the majority of those in question. Cut the fat and go lean and mean. Anquan Bolden, Rex Grossman, Chad Pennington, Bernard Berrian, Asantee Samuels and hit list just keeps on growing !

the days of loyalty. When a player would take a little less money to stay with their team. Today's players are too greedy. As much as I like Suggs, I get tired of athletes holding out to get another million.
