1 Leadership isn't about nailing your starting wide receiver's girlfriend. Leadership isn't about getting fat, physically and mentally, and then getting hammered by 27 points in the biggest game of your career. Sweating like a pig, smiling after getting sacked, etc. don't equal leadership. Leadership isn't about bellyaching about not starting at OSU as a quarterback, hinting at darker reasons for why that is. No, I don't think Troy Smith is a role model for Terrelle Pryor or any kid playing quarterback, but that's just me. If he is, it's symptomatic of what's wrong with those society chooses to idolize.

Not sure how you know some of the things you say in your post to be true, but I guess you must or you are an insider to the team. But you are entitled to your opinion. As for the 27 point loss though, I don't think you can put that all on Troy. The team as a whole stunk, and it just could be that Fla was the better team, maybe ya think? |

1 Those that can't, won't. Troy was a very good QB...good enough to win the Heisman which did him in in the Fiesta Bowl.(circuit eating while getting his awards). Gator fans can say all they want to say but it was the coaching, the Heisman circuit and the wrong attidule of " We will win this one" without any effort. FLA wanted it more. They did not have the better team that year. They just worked harder and gave a much better effort of studying film, practicing etc. To me , its about the 3 C's..... confidence, character and coaching, notin that order. |

Always stay brassy and sassy... on you it's really becoming. As a matter of fact, if you have the time you should go to bleacherreport.com and combat all the classless and clueless SEC underachievers that plague the OSU section on that site. |
