Heap needs to go.......he is a waste. I am a little shocked at Lewis not playing with a dislocated finger????
Players these days are ridiculous. It used to be the players decided if they could go or not. Today, it is these drs. who make the call and we all know what that means.
It has ruined football
I don't know -- a lot of those players from the old days are a total mess or worse -- dead. So I think there's something to be said for medical prudence. It's just hard to know what's really going on because everything that comes out of the FO of most teams is pure BS anyway.

Wow! The year from hell. Lose to the best team by a time out. Lose to the worst team in OT. The whole team should be on IR. This year is going to go down as a nightmare. Look towards the future and a great draft in 2008!

I really liked Todd for a long time, but the last couple years he has been injury prone.I think it is time for us to part ways with him.I do believe we will see Ogden retire this year so we will have to eval who can fill his shoes at that spot.I also think Rolle could be gone as well.I hope the geniuses at 1 winning drive focus on rebuilding in 2008.

Ozzie Newsome learn from this and start thinking retool rebuild ...you dont hold on to a car until it has no value left. it's past time to go youth movement, these guys should have been gone probably last year then they'd be on someone else's IR list instead of your's. You must address the secondary in the upcoming draft with the offensive line being the second priority..I believe in Smith and I have good feeling about Finnerty.... cut Mcnair and Boller lose along with the other liabilities which would be all DB's except Prude ,Sapp and maybe Gaston...the contracts wont stop you from wasting another year when you could be right back in the hunt if you fortify the DB's and the O line.If you keep playing around with Mcnair and Boller expect to throw next year away also...it's bad enough you've alredy attached yourself to Billick's misery....dont let this franchise fall further into the deep dark pit its already fallen in to...it's not to late... but it's almost to late.

Ray Lewis is a 13 year veteran who had a bone protruding from his hand last week jackass's.... why should he risk further damage to it by playing in a game that the Raven's dont have a snowball's chance in hell of winning without viable corner's.This game is the equivalent of a preseason game... it's all for evaluation purposes at this point. Go outside break your hand with a hammer until the bone comes through and go out to the batting cage and hit 90 mile an hour pitches... then do some wrestling... nitwit's

Good post. And glad to hear other folks have a good feeling about Finnerty too.

Then it would seem that the media calling it a "dislocated finger" is misleading.

On Heap and Ray: since none of us has examined either of them, I'll take the doctor's word for their condition, BUT we do need to look for a TE in the draft - and an LB.

Why all the injuries? Obvious answers are old age (by pro football terms), soft training camp, in-season strength and conditioning.

I hope we are wrong about the O line needing a rebuild - it is full of high draft choices. If we need to spend more high draft picks to replace high draft picks ... Maybe we need to replace the guys who drafted the OLs and DBs who just can not play in the NFL.

It is sad to say,but their performance the last 2 weeks indicates that has already happened.I guess playing "for pride" means nothing to these overpriced prima donnas. The ticket prices are going up next year.I guess so we can pay more for the players salaries ,and an arrogant ,self righteous coach who refuses to change because he is smarter then us peions and the media.I wonder if Billick recites" mirror on the wall who is the best coach in my mind of them
all" when he wakes up every morning. We deserve better then to pay for another year of this cherade.
