I thinks it's time to look for a tight end that is always not hurt. What a waste of money that pick was in the draft.

HEAP OUT........WHAT...WHEN........ Is he hurt? Who would have thought that Todd Heap is missing in practice and will most likely miss yet another game. I saw him on a milk carton the other day! PLEASE...PLEASE...NO more Todd Heap updates! HE IS OUT........Wussy!

Gee, Todd Mr Brittle Heap is out AGAIN. Time for the Ravens to get a REAL tightend who isn't injury prone. Poor whittle Way Lewis has a dislocated finger. Wow! and that keeps him out of the game? He didn't even return for the second half of the 'Fins game and it's because of a stinking dislocated finger? Yeah he's sure tough. The entire NHL is laughing at him; not to mention most of the NFL too. Poor wittle Way Way...couple years ago he missed half the season with a "thigh bruise", now missing time with a dislocated finger. How pathetic...no big loss anyway as he is easily replaced.

Heap is out once again. How many games has this brittle guy played in his career? Has he ever gone through an entire season without missing games? Remember Kellen Winslow of the Chargers years ago in that OT game? He could barely stand but he played until he collapsed at the end of the game. Then there is Todd Heap.

How has he avoided the IR list all season? Ogden missed a few games, Billick forced his hand by saying he may have to put him on IR and he is in the starting lineup the following week. Why has Heap been allowed to take up valuable space?

Why has Heap been allowed to take up valuable space? Fair question. And I'm not there watching him practice each week, so I don't really know. But maybe it's just one of those week to week things, and one week it looks like maybe it's improving, then there's a setback. I honestly don't know. But I do know it's certainly been frustrating. But after all Heap has done for the Ravens, I'm not willing to throw him under the bus. And given the facts that Ray is unquestionably one tough mofo who has played through some very painful chit this year, and dislocated fingers ususually do not sideline MLBs, I'm really confused over this whole thing. I have to think it's more of a fracture than a dislocation, because I've always been under the impression that they just pop whatever's dislocated back into place, shoot it up with painkillers, and the player is good to go. So I'm really not sure what's going on there. What I do know is that we're going to miss Ray a lot in the middle. He's not only the soul of the D -- he's also the brains/QB. This is going to be one weird game against Seattle.

no reason anybody who is anywhere near hurt should play in these last two exibition games. not only do they risk additional and extensive injuries but we are better off losing these two games anyway. i was way too much of a homer predicting seattle 45-0. i didnt know rolle ,heap and lewis were all out. make it 64-0 seattle this week.

I can't believe how many injuries we've had this year. I can barely recognize the team anymore. Who are these guys, and where did they come from? Did the Ravens hold open tryouts earlier in the season, first come, first signed to the team?
I wonder if the Ravens need to hire new strength & conditioning coaches, nutritionists, etc. How can this many injuries simply be bad luck? There MUST be something else to this.
Or maybe I'm just so bored with the season that I need something to talk about.

Okay, why hasn't Heap been placed on IR? He hasn't been out for like 8 weeks, either his injury is a lot more serious than what is being said or they are just resting him for next year. He sure as hell doesn't seem to be in pain on the sidelines.

I'd add Jeff Friday's name (he's the strength & conditioning coach) to the list of names of coaches that have to go: Billick, Foerster, Fangio, & Gansz so far.

When are the Ravens going to start selling the Cullen Finnerty jersies?

Cullen Finnerty. The horror. Count me as one of the bandwagon Boller bashers at the beginning of the year. Although his play didn't change much, he showed heart that is in very short supply for some on this team. Dude was absolutely decapitated weekly and he still stepped up and made some great and poor throws with half his brains on the turf. And he still wasnt a locker room cancer. Kyle, you may be infuriating to watch but at least you are an All Pro for toughness.
PS-Art Schlichter was at practice yesterday. May suit up.

My XMAS wish list: Trade our high pick next year for multiples. If Ozzy is so great, make him earn it. Not like we are going to fix this thing in one year. Buy a QB and a center. Drafting is too risky if it is not the sure thing which is rare. A late round QB named Colt who turns out to be our franchise QB. Ah, the irony. Anyone wearing Indy gear or related to the Irsays coming down with some type of painful STD. New helmets. Get rid of that damn purple seagull. Knocking the Steelers out of the playoffs next week.

Heap needs to go.......he is a waste. I am a little shocked at Lewis not playing with a dislocated finger????
Players these days are ridiculous. It used to be the players decided if they could go or not. Today, it is these drs. who make the call and we all know what that means.
It has ruined football
