The vikes can be the champs if the day they eat and sleep as one tight group. Leave all the other good times summers have to offer after they accomplish that victory. the superbowl this year and next before it's time to find other careers. I can feel this year over past history. the owner deserves that much with out the stadium even mentioned as a topic . Be greedy for only this reason ( win ).

I always felt Rice could be this type of receiver. Two big things are making a difference. Health, and Brett Favre.
He may finish as our leading receiver this year.

He's an decent receiver with good hops and below average speed. He's lucky he's got Favre slinging him the rock. Here's a tip: work on getting two feet down in the endzone – that was a pathetic attempt on a great throw from #4.

rice could be a legit 1000 yard receiver every year, most of our receivers get under-estimated because adrian peterson takes most of the offense and childress is super conservative with his play calling. i hope he breaks out this year..

Congratulations to all the Vikings who are reviving and igniting their careers with the help of Brett Favre. What a jolt Brett Favre has been to the Viking's offense!

Sidney can be in that elite group as the Fitzgeralds and carters if we keep a good QB . Man all the Vikes wide outs will be great as long as we have Farvin . GO VIKES

Just wait til Brent throws you under the bus.
Simply remember what his Jets teammates said later in the year. About this time last year they were flying high too. Be forwarned.

It has been great seeing Rice play up to some of the expectation he garnered as a second round pick. Nice work.
It's also drastic to see some of the talent of our skill guys emerge with the addition of #4.
Fun to watch!

Give it up. One thing I've always, always, noticed about you Packer fans since the days I was relegated to the attic with the portable b&w TV just so I could scratch out a view of a Vikings game in the '70s is that you are brutally angry when things don't go your way. How about this soup: Favre announced today that the 2009 Vikings is the "most talented" team he's ever been on. The good thing about being a Vikings fan is that when a talent joins our team, we don't foment on "what ifs." We watch with wonder a man enjoying the game. That's our focus. Get over it and enjoy the fact that Favre is on a team that appreciates his unique talent. When he dumps us, we'll move on, as we've done for 40 plus years.

How Does Sidney Rice get mistaken for Larry Fitzgerald??? Larry doesnt get drafted in the first round of fantasy football for 70 yard games!!! What have the Vikes done?? They beat Detroit, Cleveland, St Louis, San Francisco and Green Bay? Which of those wins was i supposed to be impressed by? I do look forward to watching them play some teams that arent garbage teams. I dont mean to sound harsh...but super bowl talk? I'm not sure that they are even the best team in the NFC North. I write this as a fan of Arizona....Non-biased towards any NFC North team...

Not angry at all. Simply disappointed that he has turned into one of the guys who is simply in it just for himself after professing not to be for years. Look back in history, he has said that every team he has been in on is the most talented. He said it every year. Yea, you move on, just like the fact that we never hear about Hershal walker every week on the KFAN.

The misspelling was on purpose, like the T shirts that read " We will never forget you BRENT." I guess it went over your head a little. I'm not whining at all, just trying to warn you of the things ahead. At 6-0 you think it is all sunshine and roses but the reality of football and BRENT will come back and bite you in the backside.

The airways up in Mn are filled with Superbowl talk.
This after a nice 6-0 run against some weaker teams.
( and I do put the Packers in the class).

What they do not realize or at least seem not to admit but that is only 1/4 th of the season and the easiest at that.
