I don't know why columnists all seem to think that Vilma will fit in or be gone. The intelligence he brings to the defense will be evident this year, his second, and will be enough of a reason to keep him without regard to other stats columnists seem to need.

i agree 100%
vilma is the top player on there defense. it would make no sense for the jets to let him go

Neither the 3-4 or Vilma will be going anyplace. Vilma is the kind of Player the Jets want,(has those "Core-Jet-Values". And as this team gets better with the 3-4, and gets better overall, so will Vilma. Its all positive from here on...
