No thanks. The Browns need players on the field, not in the exercise yard.

Let's get him on the field and see what he can do. U can't have enough good pass rushers in this game you know. It looks like that's what they brought him in for.

So our 3/4 set right now is looking like this:
OL: Kamerion Wimbley & Antwan Peak

IL: Leon Williams and D'Quell Jackson

DE/NT: Shaun Rogers, Corey Williams, with Robaire Smith & Shawn Smith rotating

LB role players: Andra Davis, Shantee Orr, & McGinest

With Mcdonald & Wright at CB and Poole & Jones at S, our DEF looks much improved since last year. With improvements on the Offensive side as well, theres no reason to believe we cant win 10+ and make the playoffs.

Predictions for Browns divisional record for 2008? I am thinking at least 4-2, but will say 5-1 with one loss coming to Pittsburgh.

Any thoughts?

4-2 is the more reasonable pick. A split with Pit and either Cincy or Balt. with one sweep. Browns have always played best ball outside the division. That will decide more than anything where they finish.

With all the improvements to the defense I see no reason we can't sweep the devision (6-0.) The steelers will be the same tough game as usual. There is no reason we can't beat the evil empire twice. A combination of our OL and their declinnig defense will put points on the board. Their offense, well say good bye to their all pro OL Faneca. Their big back is coming back from a broken leg. As I said therte is no reason why we shouldn't get a sweep. Hey !!

Emmecee, the ravens still don't have a QB,there defense is getting old and their starting left OL tackle is retiring. If not he has been plauged with injuries and I don't see him as very much help if he decides not to retire.

Cincinnati's defense not that great and they let their best DL go to the 49ers. Chad wants out so I figure he's good for disruptions.

Logically we should sweep. The rest of the schedule is a nightmare. All the NFC team are good with excellent defenses and the AFC-South well they'll be brutal. I trust our improvements based on the DL upgrade will put us into the upper echelon of teams. It is going to be an exciting year of football and I can hardly wait. Just hope all my predictions come true. Go Browns. This new guy just gave us some quality depth at the LB spot. Hopefully.

Just what kind of gem will Savage find on day two of the draft?

6-0 is a reach. Too much rivalry between Cleve-Pitt-Cincy-Balt. The other part is that Cleveland's offense is what the upsurge is all about. The game of shuffling the cards with the defense has been going on for quite some time. Unless the dfense does a complete change, the majority of Cleveland's wins will come from the offense. Something like: win big, win easy, come out flat. Case in point: 51 put on Cincy followed by 14. That says not 6-0

Yea the divison games are always close or a crazy score 4-2 maybe 3-3. I think we should sweep the Ravens but Cinn and Pitts should be hard games to win no matter what. And who knows about Anderson hes been up and down last year. We need to win the games in the Div. cause outside of it we have a very tough season ahead..

We're going to need a very good division record to offset the rest of that brutal schedule, assuming this is the year we get to the big dance. Yikes...

A division sweep would be sweet, but 4-2 is more realistic. It's hard to imagine more than that unless Anderson learns how to throw short passes, though maybe the Edwards/Stallworth/Winslow combo (along with the run) will provide enough stretch to keep something open down field.

If Anderson DOESN'T learn how to throw short/mid-range, the Stallworth signing will have been completely wasted.

I predict Anderson does not play all 16 games, therefore the young gun gets to start a few games this year, and if he lights it up and wins those games, it will be a QB controversy all over again.

Anderson is young, and he'll get better with that, but I dont think that matters in the long term. BQ is this team's future.
