Mike is a classless piece of crap. A 3-13 Detroit team is where he deserves to be. It is no coincidence that such a loser plays on a 3-13 team.

i'm from texas and i am a lions fan.. i loved every second of that game because i hate the cowboys the lions may be 3-13 but that was a big win for them beating a playoff team its good for next year and yes mike furry needs to be in a lions uniform for years to come along with roy williams he is a bad man..millen should be fired for the things he hasn't done in detroit but if he wants to do one thing right sign mike furry to a new contract and draft better players in this years draft like aaron ross of texas

Mike Furrey is a great player, coming from season of no catches because he didnt play offense to where he started nearly every game for the Lions and almost caught 100 balls. This player gives them hope with williams for the future as they try to climb to the top

Mike was a recent neighbor of mine and he is miles from "classless." He is very down to earth, a great family man, and a considerate neighbor. His work ethic is unmatched and he is exactly what you want in a hard-nosed football player. Obviously, the idiot in Texas has never met Mike.

The guy who says Mike is classless, obviously has never met the man. Furrey is the most down to earth, humble person I've ever had the priviledge of meeting. All athletes and celebrities could learn a few things from Mike.

Any man that devotes his time to the youth of today through his bible studies is far from classless! He is to be admired, respected and loved for everything he does for all those kids he touches through his bible studies!

I agree,I have personally met Mr. Furrey and he is hard worker who has earned everything he has. The Cowboys just don't have ne leadership. I know the Lions will bounce back next year with a huge season. GO LIONS

Furrey and his wife are one way with the young people he mentors in his bible study and are completely different with the people they live around. I am a close neighbor of his and he can't find the time or decency to even say hello or acknowledge my young children when they say hello to him. He use to be very humble and open and now, especially since he signed his contract he is arrogrant and aloof. I have no respect for him and will not let my kids around him anymore.

My son had the opportunity to meet Mike and was given a beautiful gift basket full of goodies (handheld games, a football, a hat, more). My purpose in looking for a website corcerning Mike is to thank him for the books my son received. The books were awsome! The books were for teens and pertained to the bible in some form. Thank you Mike "any" word from GOD is a good Word!

I went to school with Mike in high school. I also thought he was a good friend until he lost his last baseball bame in high school. I played on the team with him but did not start, and when I went to tell him it's ok and that he did a good job, he told me to shut the fuck up. And ever since , I have no respect for someone like that, I don't care how many contacts he signs!!
