It was a no brainer to keep Simms, who would you keep? Gradkowski over Simmms? or maybe McCown? I think McCown is much better than Bruce, besides Bruce will be talking to the FBI soon and the risk of having that hanging over your head Gruden knows that Simms is way to valuable for the team to just let him go. Gruden wasn't going to put himself in the same situation as he was last year when Simms went down and he had to rely on a 6th rd pick rookie to carry the team. Simms needs a few more weeks and he'll be set to go in case Garcia is hurt or removed.

Just like the StarNews to cut-and-paste copy off the wires without any editorial oversight.
The comments regarding Cincinnati say they lost to the Colts. Hey, StarNews... the Bengals WON !!
I know it was a meaningless game, and I'm a Colts fan. It just irks me that nobody reads copy before they put it in their paper to check the basic facts.
It just shows how lazy they've become since becoming the local version of USA Today.
