Vick deserves to be put in jail for the horror he inflicted on those dogs. Sorry but he shouldn't ever play ball again. This man destroyed animals by electrocution and hanging and other barbaric methods. Showed no mercy for those animals and so why should he get any mercy for killing dogs. Sorry but if he was in the same room with me I would find it extremely diffigult not to spit in his face. I am the owner of a abused dog left next to a freeway offramp in the middle of nowhere. He would have starved to death had the woman who pulled off the road hadn't found him. He weighed 30 pounds almost half the weight for a Siberian Husky. She put him in her car and drove him to a rescue group. I met him a month later all feet and head and yet the most loving creature I have ever met. I took him home to foster him and nurse him back to health. We have been together five years now sitting with him through heartworm and nightmares and the fear of thunder and people. Everyday we have together is a blessing to me and for him. People like this Vick make me sick and I hate the fact he acts like this is no big deal. The laws need to be tougher to protect animals from monsters who cut them up and abuse them. Most of the serial killers start with animals and work up to human victims. Mr Vick is a potential serial killer and a danger to all of society.

You are a wonderful person with much love and devotion and your Siberian Husky is lucky to be part of your family. I agree with every word you said regarding Vick but there are many people who support him regardless of the fact that he tortured and mutilated innocent and helpless animals to death. He is undoubtely a sociopath and, of course, as you stated, it has been documented that people who torture and kill animals will eventually escalate to torturing and killing humans. I am sure he will get what's coming to him in time but it can't be soon enough for me. Again, God bless you and your precious animal. Give him a big hug for me.

The dogs Michael Vick electrocuted, slammed to the ground, drowned and hanged didn’t get a “second chance,” and neither should Vick until he has proved that he truly understands his crime and is remorseful about having tortured and killed dogs — not just because he got caught. Until we know whether Vick truly feels remorse for his crimes, he has no business being primed to become a role model for children, which is what an NFL star is.

What franchise owner is talking about hiring him. Those dogs never stood a chance and we have no guarantee he won't do this again. Part of his sentencing by the judge should have read no pet ownership or animals of any type for the rest of his life. Yes monsters are real and that monster is lowlife dirtbag Michael Vick. In the african american community dogs are just a animal to most of them. To bad those injured and tortured dogs can't chew him into little pieces. What a pos.
