He doesn't even mention the biggest hearts of our defense at the time in Rod Coleman and Eric Barton. Despite all the big names on our team at the time, those two were the most overlooked because Barton was our leading tackler and Coleman was our leading sacker. I was very dissappointed when I heard both of them left.

I miss them both. Once we lost Barton and Coleman it seemed like we lost our defense all together and never got it back...Except for maybe 2006 but it didn't do any good since we had no offense at all. |

I was a pretty big Gruden fan myself, but he's gone and his time with the Raiders is over (at least for now). Cable is giving me the same hope Gruden did and has a better relationship with Al Davis so hopefully that will make things better in the RaiderNation. RAIDERNATION 2009!!!!!!!! |

if the RAIDERS do not do well, it may be the coaching. cause we have pretty good players but a little on the rookie side. so, if it's both, we gotta deal with it a little longer. and time is not on our side. but if we stay with at least an 8-8 record, we're in!
