<quoted text>
You spend HOURS on this forum, everyGDday, arguing, bitching, insulting, researching people's FB pages so you can provide hyperlinks and asinine comments and acting like an all around POS..........and then post up this little gem:
<quoted text>
Instead of wasting your time with, in your own words, "such losers", why don't you spend time with your children. GD, boy, you like to rant about the "important things" in life yet you spend literally hours of every one of your days here on this forum crying and whining like a little bitch. I think you may be beginning to take on the personas of your daughters..........Gawd help them!
<quoted text>
The above is a perfect example of why you are what I like to term, "limited". First of all, what's important to you, isn't necessarily what's important to others. Though you are a dumb bastard, even you, I think, would have to concede that. Talking about the dog killing POS, his abhorrent methods, and his repugnant character that allowed him to engage in such a deviant and warped criminal activity are very important to many people. It keeps the discussion relative to the deviant activity of dog fighting alive and thriving.
It's a shame I have to relay such basic and obvious facts to someone who says he is a man with two children under the age of 7 (poor, unfortunate things) but you obviously don't have the capacity to see or understand the bigger picture. Having to explain these things to you is tantamount to having a discussion with a child.
Now, I'll offer you some advice, pro bono of course. LMGDAO
Drop your asinine obsession with this dog killing POS felon. Find more worthwhile and productive things to do with your efforts and time. Two children who are obviously very limited with the amount of time they should be spending with their father come to mind.
<quoted text>
For once, I agree with you.
Wow, speaking of wasting time... For someone who is obsessed enough with me to go through all that, should you really be talking about other people's obsession with Vick ? Especially since you've been here for years obsessing over him ?
Not that I need to explain myself to the likes of someone like you, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you seem to finally understand I'm not who you said I am. I'm not on here all day. I'm here early mornings, dinnertime and later at night (sometimes). The small amount of time I spend on here takes nothing away from my daughters. This weekend my girls are in Daytona with their grandparents for the holiday. Poor unfortunate things ? Hardly. They are well behaved, well adjusted little girls who understand what Vick did was deplorable. End of story. I don't, nor would I try to teach them anything else about the case at their age. All they need to know at 4 and 6 is animals are to be taken care of by man. Not killed for sport of any kind.
What's important to me doesn't have to be important to you. We all have our opinions. I'm no less entitled to mine as you are yours. I have no obsession with Vick. I have a genuine curiosities about people with your kind of hatred toward him and what you've done to hinder his comeback . I'd hoped for that from the start but wasn't granted that opportunity.
Face it Jim, there aren't a lot of intelligent people to speak with on here that don't always agree with you. I've done a lot of reading back on old threads and have seen the "F the damn dogs" people. I'm not one of them, nor have I ever said anything that would cause people to assume I'm that way. So, if you're not here simply for the fun of arguing, prove it and let's talk like men.

Ummmm..so you didn't know Leah, and now you do know her???..wait, now let me get this straight..you were trying to hide behind one of your many..MANY different made up profiles and didn't want to be found out because you were ashamed of all your claims of defending Vick??...or maybe you didn't want someone to know that you were really gay?..whatever!!!..No one really cares..
If someone's credibility could possibly go below ZERO, your's just did!!
What are you talking about ? Oh wait, are you saying you couldn't figure out the difference between my 2 posts to Leah ? Aww, let me baby-step it for you Hater. At first I simply said excuse me because I didn't understand why she would say that to me. It seemed like it may have been meant for someone else. Then it dawned on me that she may just be another mindless dolt like you who believes everything Jim says. She's not, but as you should have been able to see , in the later posts we've gotten that squared away.
As far as being ashamed of who I am, I have no reason to. No one should. You are who you are. One thing I'm NOT is a Vick excuser. Never have been. But I guarantee you, someone's opinion of me who I'll never meet will never validate who I am. My wife, kids and my boss are the only people I need to prove anything to.
Now that we have that straitened out, why don't you read Jim's last post. He's leery, but understanding that I'm not who he and you have been thinking I am. I'm open for reasonable discussion if you are. I think this forum would be visited a lot more often if the post stayed intelligent and lie free.

Boycotts against whom? Now as for whether we knew/know each other the answer would have to be no.Even if we've spoken before on this forum we've never met in person.I know many times I've missed the banter with my friend Scott. Maybe you and I will become friends as well.

I'm up for that, thank you. I appreciate your giving me a chance.
The topic of boycotts I was speaking of was based on the number of corporate sponsors the Eagles have. I've seen a lot of websites asking for people to boycott the Eagles sponsors, but I was wondering how many people realize the sheer volume of sponsors they have and how difficult it would be to avoid all of them. Yes, I can see going out of your way to not shop at 7-11. There's other places to get gas or a bottle of water. But what about canceling your Aflac disability insurance ? Or spending possibly 100's of dollars more to avoid USAirways. I'm just wondering how far people would go to boycott and if they feel there's still value in doing it if you can't, or won't go all the way with it.
Thanks again.

Blame the culture and his parents for never showing him right from wrong
Why does every thing come down to "He only hurt dogs, not people"? Why can't you understand that people are capable of caring about both. Vick will never repay his debt. I'll bet he's already been back to dog fights somewhere by now.
You mentioned prison. I've never done time myself, but I was a correctional officer for many years, and a police officer before that. Guys like Vick don't have a particularly hard time in prison as they are celebrities. He'd be surrounded by toadies, just like on the outside.
He's a POS. The next time he colors outside the lines will be worse than the last. Anyone capable of hurting an animal is fully capable of hurting a human. Where do you think serial killers begin? No, I'm not calling Vick a serial killer... at least not a human killer... yet!

Isn't that a lot of speculation ? Your background in dealing with scumbags would make anyone understandably cynical without a doubt, but to go so far as to say he's not a human killer "yet" ? A little extreme in (just) my opinion.
What do you propose should have been his punishment ?

Thanks KBT:You are absolutely right!He also never gave info on others in the dogfighting circuit: as required by Judge Hudson.
He is a piece of human garbage, and the only people I have less respect for, are those who enable him and make excuses for his vicious behavior! Don't know if it is sheer ignorance, or a lack of knowing right from wrong.
who can forgive or forget that type of savagery? You being a officer have seen the wickedness of humans. Vick is right up there. These weren't crimes of passion: this was his sheer joy of watching them suffer

Like I said KBT: lots of ignorance to go around!
Every serial or spree killer, has a history of hurting small animals. Vick had been killing things all his life. If he was not a "celebrity", I guarantee he would have moved on to two leggeds. Not speculation: forensic specialists like Dr. randall lockwood(SPCA), melinda Merck: who tstified @ his trial, have written books on the correlation.

Too bad, some would rather read facebook pages than learn something.Vick is a sociopath, and you don't reform or change that. All you can do, is keep him on a very short leash, so he doesn't reoffend. Once he is off the roster, he will be in trouble, because he is an evil, undisciplined thug!

It's a little late for boycotts and in truth always was. As you point out just too difficult to do.I still have rescues who have been 'thru the wars' with the likes of the thug. I'm afraid I will never overcome the revulsion I feel for any person who can subject an animal to such brutality. And then Vick gets a hangnail and whines all season. What are your thoughts on the wimp?

I'm not ignorant and I see you had to include that in your first sentence. Again, I'll ask kindly to leave accusations out of it.
"Every serial or spree killer, has a history of hurting small animals." I know it happens a lot, but "every" ? I'd like to see proof of that.
"Dr. randall lockwood(SPCA), melinda Merck: who tstified @ his trial" He plead guilty. Was there actually a trial with witnesses ?
I noticed you didn't have an answer to what should have been his punishment. Any insight on that ?

Well, I'm no doctor, but I know the most serious injury he had last year was his ribs and I know a lot of people wondered why he wasn't playing and Romo was "with the same injury". This is where I think the Vick haters stop listening sometimes. A doctor on ESPN explained that even one cracked rib in a certain area can be more painful than 3 in another. They can be harder to heal without rest as well. Other than that, I remember he had a concussion which are closely monitored by the NFL now. Then there was a game he was pulled from for what the trainers misdiagnosed as a broken hand and a bitten tongue where the other team actually called for trainers to help help him. They (I think the Redskins) later admitted it was an attempt to do whatever they could to get Vick off the field and knew he wanted to stay out. Besides that, he started 13 of 16 games. Pretty typical for a QB who just can't seem to take a dive and live to play another day.
Keep in mind, this doesn't make me an excuser, lover or supporter. It's just the facts.

I think the most important question that can be ask about Vick considering his past,as well as anyone else who participates in brutality is What kind of heart is that? Seriously. I know my answer and it has to be that there is no ability to feel compassion or empathy while there is the desire to be cruel and brutal. Many times I have looked into the face of what I thought was evil but Vick is more evil than anyone I have ever known and the most dangerous. Why? He can lie without thought.He can smile in your face and deny it while being a true street,ghetto thug. He will tell you what you want to hear and laugh at your stupidity for believing him. He's one scary psycho. The only difference in him and a gang banger is football. If he hadn't excelled at football he would be in prison for life most likely.

Is he truly the worst of the worst, Leah ? I have to think there's others as bad if not worse. People who will never be on a leash like he is maybe ? Ya know, sad as it is, there's always going to be people that have seen what somebody has done and just have to be a little more twisted.
Can I assume from what you said that you agree football is the best place for him at this moment ?

Absolutely. Football as long as possible and then a public job where tabs can be kept on him.Yes. The thug is the WORST of the worst that I have seen as far as his creativeness in brutalizing living,breathing animals. Some have come very close but have yet to surpass in my opinion. I am presently caring for a bait dog. Horrendous-what was allowed and encouraged to be done to that innocent,mild mannered PUPPY.He may be 11-14 months old. At the risk of sounding eccentric I will say if I knew who did that to this little,humble guy I would hire 3 or 4 very large men to give him one hell of a whoopin' as in ICU.

Your anger toward someone who would do that is understandable, and I commend your efforts. As I said, I just wonder about the sick minded people that see the things that Vick's done and just have to be a little more twisted.

Yes. Have you ever been to a dog fight or have you ever known anyone who has done or does this. And if you answer yes to the knowing would you ever report someone? Do you have pets and what kind? Have you ever lost a pet and if you did -did you find out what happened to it.
As far as the sick minded,it's my opinion if the court system would put the evil demons in stocks for a few weeks we might see a change.
